A little bit of everything on this one. You've got Classic J. Giels Band inspired songs, mixed with old-school R & B, a bluegrass version of "Love Stinks", and Peter's attempt to do some actual current sounding material - which he pulls off! A surprising good time.

With most of the original band back together for the first time in nearly 40 years, the magic is still there. The material easily recaptures the vibe of the first 3 Santana records while managing to sound current (as opposed to a quick cash-grab 1971 copy). Some decent new songs, several instrumentals, and 2 very good songs with vocals by Ronald Isley. I wasnt sure if Carlos could pull this off, but he definitely did. Thumbs Up!

Cover records are usually a mixed bag. It's rare that you find one thats great all the way through, and this one is no exception. Standout tracks include, Emerald, Bring It On Home, and the best of the bunch - Free's "Fire & Water" with vocals by Paul. There's 2 passable Kiss covers, and a few others that Ace Probably shouldn't have sang on! Overall - There's more to love than there is to hate. It's a fun record.

Back in the day, I wasnt enthused when Mike Howe took over for David Wayne. He wasnt nearly as original sounding as Wayne & the whole thing didnt grab me. Fast forward 26 years and Howe is back in the fold for a heavy, catchy, in-your-face, classic metal record thats better than anything they've recorded in years. The song writing is top-notch: heavy, yet totally accessible at the same time. It has that classic metal sound, but still manages to sound current. Old fans, you'll still love it. Newer, younger fans - if you want to check out a classic act that still has what it takes, you wont be disapointed.

This record will remind you more of a QOTSA record than an Iggy solo effort, but it's very good just the same. The music is mostly mid-tempo stuff that makes great use of Iggy's lower range vocals. The songs are moody & atmospheric, yet very catchy at the same time. Iggy claims this record and tour might be his last. If so, it's a great way to go out.

Henry Rollins isnt exactly know for making Acadamy Award Winning movies, but this one really hits the mark. A simple, but extremely effective horror movie about a "Man" (?) who doesnt die. Why doesnt he die? I cant give that away! But the payoff is very cool and you wont be disappointed. A good, solid story with a simplistic - yet effective acting performance by Henry. Buy It!!!!!!

Yes, I AM a 47 year old man and this movie made me smile like a little kid! The animation is incredible as the story stays true to the characters we all know and love. I still sat and watched it again with my nieces!

A fantastic performance by the London Shakespeare Company with Doctor Who Favorite David Tennent in the lead. Tennent show that he does indeed have acting chops to spare as he easily holds his own with these Shakespeare all-stars. Loved it!

Anthrax's last release was viewed as a comeback of sorts. Well, if you loved that one, you'll love "For All Kings" just as much - if not better. The opener, "You Gotta Believe" will hook you in and you'll be there to the end. Heavy, great hooks, even better lyrics, and great vocal work from Joey. Anyone who dares call themself a Metal fan NEEDS this to keep his or her street cred! Great Stuff!
