Loving the Remasters

I got out of the vinyl game a LONG time ago but kept my collection. I'm back in the swing of things, and have come to appreciate clean-sounding vinyl. I've also learned to appreciate Pink Floyd in recent years. Now, I'm glad they're releasing these remasters and I really love how they're sounding on my simple record player. I can appreciate the collectors, but dang these sound exceptionally good.

My introduction into Death was the song Pull the Plug from the album Leprosy, but what REALLY got me wanting even MORE Death was Symbolic. The maturation process for Chuck Schuldiner was ever-growing as an artist, and this album, I feel, is the pinnacle of his achievements, followed by The Sound of Perseverance. Sounds awesome on vinyl, too!

Fist things first, this album for me is a 5 out of 5 stars. However, this remix/remaster version loses a point since they changed the classic sound of this album and added horns in the intro to 'Into the Lungs of He||' and dang-near ruined it.
I still like listening to this version, but I will be seeking out a classic copy of this album to hear it in it's proper manner.
None the less, it's classic Megadeth through and through. Possibly an overlooked classic in Megadeth's arsenal.

When I went to the local BB store to buy speakers to replace my old, blown out bookshelf speakers, I was immediately assisted by an employee who immediately turned me on to these speakers.
We sampled a few of the options available, but even ones that cost $100 more didn't sound as good as these.
Got 'em home, and they sound phenomenal. If they last as long as my old ones, I'll be EXTREMELY happy.
