This has been a great lock so far, works very well with Samsung Smart things. Is very responsive, easy to install, and looks great. Only complaint is that they don't seem to be selling this model anymore. Couldn't find the brushed nickle finish, which I think looks the best.

This is a great charger. If you can find one, they are great. Sleek shell, not smooth, so it isn't sliding around when you have it set down. It doesn't heat up when you charge to or from it. Haven't really had a chance to test it out camping/backpacking, which is the purpose of buying it. So far, so good.

This is a great stereo for those who want to the fancy touch screen but are also on a budget. I also got the more expensive one for another vehicle and is almost identical except there are not as many customization features. Only complaint would be no way to changing the back ground.

Great Deck, awesome display and functions

So I have had this Deck for a couple months now. Long enough to know all the features and what not. One thing I am not the biggest fan of, is the volume buttons instead of a turn-knob. I knew this from the get-go. So I had expected this, so it's not a complaint, just an observance. The fact you can change the back grounds to any picture you want, awesome feature. I also love the back up camera, although I wish they would make one that came with a camera instead of relying on aftermarket ones that end up being garbage.... Everything about it I love. This is a great deck. No complaints, although I wish they had put the GPS unit in there and the turn knob... it would be over 5 stars. Great job Pioneer.

What equipment and services do i need to already have for these cameras to work?
You really just need an internet connection for it via Ethernet. A general knowledge of how to plug things in and the ability to download a free app! It is really simple and easy to use. I have set up about 20 of these systems and they are really easy. You just have to plug in the DVR to power, connect it to your router via ethernet cable (does not have WiFi) and then plug all the cameras into the DVR. The camera wires also need power, so it will use 2 power plugs. One for the cameras and one for the DVR. Gets tricky when you are trying to get clever on trying to hid everything. I believe in you though! Best thing about this system is there is no monthly subscription or anything like that. Once you buy the system you can access them anywhere anytime for free. Great cameras. High quality, great picture, and easy set up.

Is the system battery operated
No it is not. It needs to be plugged into an outlet. There are 2 plugs for it, one for the 4 cameras (will need to add another if adding more than the 4 cameras) and one for the DVR itself. You can add a back up battery for it in case the power goes out, but that will last you maybe a half hour without power going to it. The camera wire and power for the camera run in the same cable.

only need three cameras. need 100 foot cable for one of them, so can I connect two of the 60 foot cables together?
Yes, you need an adapter for it. BNC to BNC adapter. It can only go so far, so don't try connecting more than 2. You can also buy a BNC cable that will be that long too. if you are going to the hassle of setting up cameras, you might as well utilize the 4 it comes with and get a longer cable to run for the one. You are going to have to buy that adapter anyways. Plus I am sure you can think of another place for that camera.

Does the system has any type of alarm?
closest to an alarm you would get on this is if you set up the notifications. It is called an alarm, but it basically a feature on the app that will notify you if a camera detects motion and starts recording. This is a nice feature to turn on if you are expecting a package or something, but I normally don't use it. It is not connected to a security panel or anything, so no alarm noises or anything. I would recommend getting a smart home system for that, or have a company that monitors and will notify the police / fire station.

How much Mb does the internet velocity has to be for it to function properly? (For cable wired cameras) can a 8mb internet velocity be okay so that I may see it from any mobile device? Will it affect the quality of the image?
It should work, but it will be incredibly slow. The faster the connection on both ends ( DVR & remote viewing device) the better it will be. There are 2 settings for the quality, low quality but smoother video, and higher quality but choppier viewing. This is only for the remote viewing. When downloading video it should all be the same quality. Also, downloading video from remote device will be slow if not possible on that slow of a connection. I would just not count on being able to remotely view them if you're on a connection that slow. Great cameras though.

what is the difference between a 4-channel system and a 8 Channel system
One is only 4 cameras, and the 8 you can put up to 8 cameras. Always get more channels than you think you need. Room to upgrade. I started with 4, and added 2 more. I could add 2 more even, but I don't really have anywhere that isn't covered on the outside of my house.

Does this have the option to download an app to be able to view your footage from it?
yes sir. The app is actually pretty legit. Can't make changes to the DVR with it, like the time etc. You can easily view your cameras as long as you can coverage, and there is no monthly fee like some apps require. I would highly recommend these. Easy to use, and great app.
