Denon has always been one of my favorite hi-fi brands, and when it was time for me to buy a new CD player I gravitated towards Denon and found this to be about the price I wanted to pay. I wanted a single-play CD player, giving up using my 6-disc tray CD player to use in the garage for when I'm working on my car. I like the single disc player, but my one drawback it that if, when you turn it on, there is a disc in the slot, then the CD loads automatically, which takes 7-12 seconds. Then it autoplays track 1, which would be nice if I wanted track one to play as soon as I turned it on. But, if, as is often the case, I wanted to turn on the CD and play something different, I have to turn it on,m wait for the load, stop the player, then hit eject. Once everything is going as I like, this machine is great, but I have the desire to not listen to that which I was listening to before, or, maybe not restart at track one. Other than that, t's cool. Haven't tried the USB yet, that's for tomorrow. I did recommend this CD player to a friend today. With the warning of my shortcomings found.

I bought it for the 3D effect, which I have yet to see, so I can't comment on that. The story itself I found lacking - the visual rendering was nice, but the story I found slow to develop and I was well, I was expecting more of a Avengers-like story. This is different. My friends all love the movie, so I guess it was good. I'll watch it again this weekend in 3-D and see how that changes my opinion. Hmm.. maybe I wasn't the target audience...

I like it. What I really wanted was a way to plug in all my stereo components into one outlet and have one on/off button, which this fits the bill 100%. Some people say there stereos sound better or they get better TV reception, which maybe I do, but I just wanted to turn on everything with one button. The $$$ I spent on this is a bit high, but I do like it. I do have a question in that it appears that it is always on - the display is always showing 120 volts and 0.2 amps when everything is off, and when on it shows higher values, but I thought I could turn off this item as well.. It is always on. Weird I guess. Or, maybe I'm just confused. Again, I do like it - but I'm still a little confused.

I had this LP way back in the day and back then I thought it was an amazing album. I guess my tastes have shirted over the years, as I thought this was good, but eh, I've moved on. Still like Stephen Stills, but I think I'll go with his live versions over this. Recommend, but with some hesitation.

I was a big U2 fan back in the day, but by the time Joshua Tree was released I had moved on to other artists. On a whim I purchased this and wow, was I stupid for not buying this years ago. I like the non-hits a little more than the hits, and the hits are really good. Excellent sound quality reproduced on the CD, a definite buy in my book.

Store and display your audio equipment in style with this audio tower that features a cable management system and 3 glass shelves, including a top shelf that can hold TVs up to 32" or 80 lbs.
If placed evenly in the corner of a room, what is distance in inches to front center of bottom shelf? of a bottom front leg?
Using math, since the stand is 26 inches wide, if you placed it in the corner of the room such that both back corners touched the walls an even distance from the corner, then those corners of the top shelf would touch the walls 18.38 inches from the corner itself. Now, using the Pythagorean Theorem once again, we can find that the center of the back of the top shelf would be 13 inches from the corner of the room. Add the distance from the back of the top shelf t the front of the top shelf, which is 15 inches, and we get that the center of the front of the shelf will be 28 inches from the corner of the room, at a minimum; more if you are away from the walls a little bit. Etc.
