It may leave you feeling RPID-off as it is hard to distinguish this from the more familiar Men In Black concept... It just felt a bit well-worn to me. The effects were good and met usual summer blockbuster standards, so look for it on sale and crank the volume.

After viewing this flick I remembered that the flick wasn't great when it was originally released, and therefore it's not going to get better with age. I picked this up becasue I vaguely remeber the Hansen brothers bringing some life to this movie... unfortunately not enough!!!

I could watch Amanda Seyfried all day long, she's the real treat in this movie. I thought Meryl Steep and the others gave great performances and would recommend the flick on that. However, I just found the idea of building a "story" around the ABBA songs kind of lame which pulled down the rating score..

Got it on sale. Thought it was average, not bad for a on sale "collection builder." The story was rather familiar and thus wasn't as compelling as it could have been. However, there was some really good movie making moments througout the movie, which to me makes it recommendable.

Even though these flicks are a bit older they are good builders for the movie library / collection. I think I enjoyed Friday Nights a bit more, but that's not to say the Express was bad, it just that the genre seems too familiar.

This was based on a John le Carre' novel and isn't a fast paced new-style Bond movie. The story gives some idea of the behind the scenes bureaucratic decision making going on in the world of "espionoge." I thought the movie was well crafted. The acting was really top-notch (well save for some "accent" work) ... this was one of Philip Seymour Hoffman's last movies and he really owned this role. Got it on sale to boot!

Did anyone opt to purchase the protection plan?
I didn't. I usually never do as the products usually have issues fairly early on in my experience (which would then be cover by the original warranty) and therefore many products will simply outlast the extended warranty period. However, another way to look at it is that you are simply buying piece of mind and for some folks it's well worth it.

Why is my fridge so noisy?
I have had my new fridge a week, but I've been on a trip most of the time. Now that I'm back, I've noticed how noisy it is -- unusually so. I can hear it all over my house and it's driving me batty. Is there anything that can be done... for example, insulation around the compressor or whatever, or pads on the bottom?
A new frige should be really quite and not heard from another room. Compare the noise from your frige and a neighbors to gage any real difference as a reference before calling for service (but it should be pretty quite).

Enters savings NYSEG rebate - getting rid of old refriferator . How does this work ? Does NYSEG need to come out to assure the old refriferator is still in working order ? Jodi
Normally it should be running so that the recycling company can verify that it's working (it just needs to get cold). Once they verify, you should be given a form that is used to submit for the rebate.
