I ordered the black version of this microwave to match my appliances. Overall, I am happy with the Microwave. I don't have a problem seeing the numbers on the buttons (although others have complained about that). Warming up food works out really well and is more thorough than my 16 year old microwave I replaced. My one complaint is that when you push the button to open the door, it has a metallic/plastic sound that sounds very cheap and week. Every time I open it, it sounds like the button is breaking and it really bothers me for some reason. If the button didn't emit a horrible clunky noise when you opened it, I would have given this a 5 start review.

As far as smart home lighting goes, Philips Hue light bulbs are the tip of the spear! They're obviously expensive and that is their only downfall. I've outfitted my bedroom, living room and rec room with these light bulbs partnered up with an Amazon Echo, I just walk around the house barking out orders to Alexa to turn on and off the lights. I feel like a king in my own home, with electronic servants around every corner.

I'm a Pandora One subscriber, so this right up my alley. Pandora is primarily what I use although the Bose Soundtouch works with other internet music sources, such as Spotify, Deezer, iHeartRadio, SiriusXM and your home music library. Soundtouch also connects to what feels like an endless amount of internet radio stations. I also own 2 Soundtouch 20's. All of these Soundtouch systems work in unison and it's fabulous. Every morning as my wife and I get ready for work, I turn on 3 of these Soundtouch units all playing whatever we feel like listening to as we get ready for work. So as we walk through the house, they're all playing the exact same song at the exact same time.
The sound quality on the Bose Soundtouch 10 is great. On the 20, even better and the 30, the best. But with each numerical upgrade comes a bigger physical size and a bigger price tag. The 10 is great for bathrooms and smaller areas. The 20, I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. The 30 is too big for my liking, but sounded great at the best buy store.
Buy any of them, you'll be happy.

Expensive, but worth it!

I have a TiVO Roamio Plus which allows me to connect the Tivo Mini. I purchased 2 Tivo Mini's and connected them to my Roamio Plus. You have to pay for service for your Tivo Mini. So keep that in mind. I opted for the lifetime service. It's pricey, but for me, worth it.
I wanted to be able to have DVR usage in the rooms I watch TV. Tivo Mini allows me to do that. My Tivo Roamio is the "brain" so to speak and the Mini's connect to it to access all my recorded shows and HD TV. It does not connect through wireless connection, so you have to keep that in mind also. You have to hard wire it or network it through your existing cable in your house. It's a little tricky to set up, but once it's all dialed in it's worth it.
In summary I'd say this. To get all your Tivo's up and going, it's a bit expensive. I paid for the lifetime on all of my Tivo's so it was really expensive, but the best part now, I have no monthly payment and I only have to rent 1 cable card from my cable company now. The set up is a bit tricky and I'd like to think I'm fairly advanced at home networks and computers in general. BUT... once it's all paid for and it's all set up and working flawlessly, that's when you feel like the KING of your domain, that's when you feel like technological god !! I love being able to go to any of 3 TV's in my house and access all my recorded shows. If you can rationalize spending the money (my GF loves TV more than I do and encouraged me to buy these) and you want to deal with the initial headache of the install, then these are for you. Buy them, enjoy them, take control of your home entertainment system !!

What's great about it: HD TV in other rooms connect to your DVR.
What's not so great: Price. About $250 total to get this going.

Does the app work with Sirus/XM?
Id like to have one of the presets go directly to a Sirus/XM channel, would this be possible?
Yes, it will work exactly as you've described. You set up your Sirius XM account and log in through the Bose App. When you're setting up your presets through the Bose Soundtouch App, then you just go to your SiriusXM portion of the app and select the channel you want to hear and save it as a preset. These Bose Soundtouch radio/speakers are versatile and you won't be disappointed.

Will the system work with Amazon Prime music?
As of 4-22-16, Amazon Music is not one of the supported options in the app. However, I'll just describe my own option to make this work. Connecting my iPhone to one speaker via bluetooth and then using my iPhone to play Amazon Music. That will allow it to play Amazon Music, but that would only work with one speaker at a time.

I do not have an internet connection -could use a router. I would like to play music throughout apartment wirelessly using an iPod. Is this possible?
With a router, you could connect your Bose Soundtouch Speakers to your iTunes collection you have on a computer in your house. Or you could listen to your iPod through one speaker at a time if your iPod has bluetooth capability.

Can speakers be paired?
I want to hook up my XM receiver to a Soundtouch in my living room. Can I pair a second Soundtouch speaker in another room and listen to the XM music?
If you have internet access for SiriusXM you can use your account and log into your SiriusXM account through the Bose Soundtouch app. Then you can listen to SiriusXM through all of your Bose Soundtouch systems simultaneously. That would be the most convenient way to listen to SiriusXm (This is how I have it set up on mine and it works great).

How far can i place the speaker from the radio/cd player, I need 80 ft.
It's not just a speaker. It's an internet radio and speaker. It works with internet radio providers like Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc. It can connect to your home music library on iTunes as well, along with a ton of internet radio stations. It can also connect via bluetooth. With that said, it's 80 feet range will work if it can connect to your router from 80 feet away. I suggest you to to Best Buy and check out their display and talk to one of their customer service representatives to get a better understanding as to what the Bose Soundtouch is capable of.
