This movie left me with my jaw slack I couldn't believe it wasn't the biggest action film of 2012. Script, performances and direction are flawless. And the 3D was a total showstopper.. The Slo-Mo scenes are AMAZING in 3D. If you're trying to figure out why the heck you ever bothered buying a 3D TV this is the movie that will answer that question for you. Forget Avatar. Dredd is 3D at it's finest. And no giant smurfs!!!

This machine is fantastic. I lost my old Whirlpool front loader in a hurricane and decided to give Samsung a try. Glad I did. Washer has a ton of space for super huge loads. I even washed a king size comforter in it and had room to spare. Everything comes out super clean and pretty dry. My drying time has been cut in half. And my normal 4 Sunday loads are down to 3. Plenty of cycles for every kind of fabric. Super pleased

How high should the water fill?
You won't see much water if any in the bottom of the drum. That's how they're designed.

Small vs large load settings?
I was washing a load last weekend and the drum had a lot of room left, I realized I could put a larger load in this than my last washer. Is there a setting for small vs large loads so that it puts in less water when doing a smaller load? I am not sure if it just automatically adjusts based on the weight of the clothces inside or if it is an actual setting.
The reason the machine rolls the drum around a few times before it starts to add water is because it's weighing the clothes. It fills based on the weight.,

why does washer not fill up more than initial fill amount on "normal" cycle?
Under "rinse and spin" option the machine fills up to initial fill level and then "full" level as shown in trouble shooting section on Samsung website. Does not do this when selecting "normal" wash on dial (using same temp and spin options, normal soil level). Only fills up to initial level on normal wash - not enough water to clean clothes. Suspected this when washing first two loads - did not look like enough water in use. Then ran empty load under both of these load options - "rinse and spin" vs "normal" and noticed washer behaving differently, even for empty load. Why is this?
Front loaders use very little water so the solution your clothes are washing in is much more concentrated. Remember the clothes have a lot of water in them when the machine fills so it looks like there's less water in the machine than there really is. I was really skeptical at first but this is my second front loader and my clothes are always cleaner than when I had a top loader. Worry not!!!

does not machine work well with only cold water?
If in-fill only cold water, how is the washing quality? Does the internal water heater function to heat the water to the set temp?
Works fine with cold water. Make sure you use a detergent that works well in cold. That makes all the difference,.

how long is a typical wash cycle?
i'm coming from a very old top loader but ive heard the wash cycles can be quite long in these newer front loaders. any help is appreciated!
Anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on whether or not you use Steam or Sanitize. It has a few short cycles as well.
