I'm a semi-fan of the skylanders games and once I found that that the Switch version offers the option to permanently scan in your characters, I was in. It's a fun little adventure game that lets you switch characters on the fly, which I think works better than scanning all of your characters constantly.

Enjoy fast-paced action with Super Bomberman R for the Nintendo Switch. Race around new and exciting levels while destroying enemies and the obstacles in your path. You can play against the computer or a human opponent in Super Bomberman R to see who can maneuver through the mazes and remain the last one standing.

This is a decent game, however a bit steep at $60. I managed to get it on sale, but still, it feels like a $20 budget title.
The gameplay is basic bomberman, but the story or single player part of it isn't really all that fun as it doesn't do anything new. Plus the difficulty is a bit much at times, with bosses seemingly knowing your every move. This game is best played multiplayer, as that's still a lot of fun.
It's also hard to believe a game like this has a single player capped at 30 fps when Mario Kari 8 Deluxe can run at 60. It definitely needed a bit more time to develop and optimize.

It's a little early to tell from just a couple games, but I am really liking this console. The fact that you can play it on the TV or as a portable is really cool and makes it easy to keep playing when you need to leave the room. The best feature is the stand by feature for the games. I can pause in Zelda, hit the home button and put it to sleep. Then I can come back at any time and resume form that exact point. I LOVE THAT!
