Sync the sound with a cable?
Can we sync the sound with an Aux cable so the whole car can hear the movie?
You could plug an auxiliary speaker, such as a cell phone speaker, into the headphone jack that would allow everyone to hear the movie.

A cable comes with the units that allows both units to show the same movie. There is one specific unit that must be used for double viewing.

Can each be placed in seperate cars
One in my car and one in my hubby's car
You can play them in both cars if you purchase an extra auto power cable for your cigarette lighter. The power cable it comes with is a Y cable that allows both units to play from one power plugin source.
