I had low expectations for this film given the negative press and reviews, but was pleasantly surprised - this might be because I have not seen the previous anime or read the manga, so I had nothing to compare it to. Overall, it was entertaining with good special effects and decent acting - the plot just felt a little stale (probably because the source material has been ripped off by a million other sci-fi films).

I bought this to replace the Netgear R8500 which started acting up after about 9 months and required daily resets to restore internet access. I've only had this router up and running for about 2 weeks and it was solid until last night when Wifi access started acting up and required a reset - I'll see how it goes and update this review if I continue to have problems.
Feature wise, this is not a good match for most users. For example, there are virtually no wireless AD clients, so I shut off that antenna (and that's the "big" selling feature of this router). To make matters worse, to make room for the useless AD antenna, Netgear eliminated a more useful extra 5 GHz antenna that was present in the R8500, and reduced the theoretical top speeds in all of the other bands. The R8500 is a better match for almost everybody, but I couldn't bring myself to buy it again after it failed after only 9 months. Therefore, I decided to take my chances with the R9000 hoping it's more reliable, which is one of the most important things for me. If the R9000 fails, I'm done with Netgear.
