Quick drying, light and quiet! Oh, and Shine!

Two years ago, I stopped blow drying my hair to straighten it. I have naturally wavy hair, and decided to embrace that by using better hair products and by not drying with a hot dryer. My hair takes hours to air dry, so I needed to find a way to dry it without losing my curly waves or removing all moisture. This pansonic dryer is just what I needed. It comes with a diffuser, concentrator nozzle, and a nifty oscilating quick dry nozzle. BUT what's really important is the Nanoe--- I am not a physicist, but the Nanoe generates negative charged particles that help push water into the hair shaft--- which is exactly what curly wavy folks are looking for! Well, I have used this twice on my hair, and my curly waves were shinier and bouncier and lasted for two days. The diffuser allows me to pixie diffuse with ease and holds quite a bit of hair for that method.
I also used the oscillating attachment, which reminds me of how a stylist will shake the blow dryer when doing your hair, except the dryer makes the air change directions. This prevents hot spots on scalp and hair. Drying this way made my hair straighter and super shiny.
Finally, the dryer is not heavy, and makes it easy to clean the air intake on the back. With 1875 watts, you will get dry hair quickly, but without drying out your hair due to the nanoe technology!

Excellent Mouse- responsive`

Like everything I've ever had from Logitech, the M650 mouse is excellent in every way. Comes in a bubble package without any frills, what you see is what you get. The mouse is complete with a battery, so it is ready to use right out of the package.
Connect via Logi Bolt USB (included) or via Bluetooth. I'm still on Windows 10 and it was connected as fast as I could tap and touch! Speaking of tapping and touching, this mouse is very quiet! I cannot hear the clicks or the scrolling but I can feel both of those things. Excellent! The wheel can go from "line at a time" to warp speed, based on how quickly you spin the wheel. This is really nice on a long pdf! I got to the bottom of a ten page pdf in three whirls of the wheel.
Now, as to fit. I have the medium size mouse and my hands are on the large size for a woman. I had been using a really small mouse, but within ten minutes of use, thiis Logi mouse fits my hand perfectly. The sides where your thumb and 3rd and 4th fingers grip has a rubbery textture that holds your fingers. The top two buttons are very smooth plastic with a very slight dip, so that your 1st and 2nd fingers naturally hold it in the right spot.
This is a really good product at a good price point. I expect to get years of use from it. In fact, Logitech says the one battery will last for two years! Again, outstanding use of energy!

I've tried other software for photos but nothing compares to Adobe. I own a goat farm and am a needle crafter. Being able to quickly edit and improve the color,remove unwanted items, and improve the lighting makes me happy! Good digital photography also needs more than good photographic skills. The best part about this software is that it is user friendly. You can start with some autocorrect features and progress to full-scale professional results.

LIghtweight powerhouse

This is my first LG computer and I am extremely pleased!!For the past two years I have been working remotely, utilizing a 13 inch laptop wired to a couple of large monitors at the house. Now I am back in the office one week out of four and I needed a larger laptop screen as I no longer have an office computer. The LG Gram met all of my needs! Lightweight, thin, big vibrant screen, responsive keyboard (with a number keypad!) and quick start. Yep, it's up and running in a second or two.
This machine is fully configured with two Usb-C ports, a regular Usb, micro card reader and earphone jack. I have added several bluetooth devices at once without any difficulties, attached a portable docking station supporting two large monitors, printer, scanner and external drives, and this LG Gram doesn't skip a beat.
On the tactile side, the keyboard Is definitely my style. Square, island keys whidh move enough to let you know you actually pressed them, but still with a light touch. The touch pad works very well for me, also with the feeling of having clicked without a lot of movement. The case also feels great, with a matte black smooth finish. So, it's not slick, but smooth, having a slight 'grippability' so you can keep hold of it. Finally, the touch screen has a great feel to it, very smooth, very responsive.
Now, I wanted a lightweight laptop with a bigger screen and will tell you that the screen on the LG Gram is vibrant, clear and steady. Adjusting it to the best angle is easy and it folds flat to convert it to a tablet. With an auto-rotate option, this allows you to stand it on its side and use like a tablet.
Overall, I give this laptop my highest marks. I have owned and used dozens of laptops, but this one lets me have a bigger screen without the bigger weight or slow start up times. The versatility and options will allow me to improve my productivity.
Oh, and it has a 1TB ssd drive and 16 RAM, not to mention the marvelous Intel Evo i7 chip. So, it's a workhorse, too!

If you are looking for a monitor that is easy to assemble, has every type connection you may need (USB-C, HMDI, DP) to hook it to your laptop, has an easy-to hide camera, mic and great speakers, well, this is the monitor you need!
My employer recently issued laptops to everyone so that we can be super functional in the office, at home, or on the go. At work, I have a nice docking station, but needed something at home that I could use for work and for personal. This monitor, well, calling it a monitor is not that descriptive!, connects me to everything I need with one USB-C cable.... It includes a good camera which pops up at the top of the screen and goes down for privacy, mic and great speakers, PLUS you can attach usb devices like externat hard drives, etc. I can join a video conference with nor worries and no cables everywhere, just that one usb-C, which is also charging my laptop! When I want to switch laptops, it's unplug from one and plug into the other. marvelous!!!
Now, taking it out of the box and attaching the stand was a snap. just hand tighten the wingnut to add the base to the stand, then pop the stand into the back of the monitor. This monitor has a good heft and weight, so it is very stable (which is great with the camera). The screen can be vertical or horizontal -- just be certain you have it high enough so it doesn't hit the table when you flip it! ). It also moves side-to-side and tilts. Controls are easy to access in the lower bottom right edge of the monitor. Again, it is so much more than a monitor-- is likes a super monitor!
Anyone who hates to fuss with lots of cables but wants a bigger monitor with the laptop will love this Dell Video Conferencing Monitor. And it's Dell Quality, of course!

Light weight, easy pairing

I work online in the virtual world and spend time in zoom, webinars, presenations and workshops. I am always trying new audio equipment for audio, looking for the perfect fit. These JVC marshmallow true wireless earphones are an excellent choice for this purpose.
I have small ears and cannot use many brands that have large hard ear insert parts. These marshmallows are soft and fit well with the small cones. I have tested the sound with meetings, movies, and music and they pass my test!
NOTE: be sure to take the tape off of the contact points on the earphones so that they will charge!!
The 'stick' that hangs down outside the ear canal is small but sturdy and does not get tangled in my long hair (huge bonus!). The charging case is small and convenient, with a separate charging cord which is usb plug in. When I took them out of the case, they were instantly available for pairing on my computer and phone. This is great for me since I occasionally need to work through the phone when the internet is down. I'm not sure how long the charge works, but I believe the 30 hour claim. I used them all day in a four hour drive, followed by 8 hours of work and a movie!
This is the kind of fuss-free quality I expect from JVC.

Great feel for sore muscles

I live on a ranch and the Vibrating Massage Ball helps me quickly work out the soreness and stiffness. It's a convenient size, about the size of a tennis ball, and I can carry with me in my utility vehicle. This allows me to receive therapy while out in the field or sitting on the couch.
I have used the ball for two weeks and am pleased to have this. I have had much larger 'massage' devices before, but I really like the smaller form factor of this one.

Quick connecting, great sound

I spend a lot of time with earphones, ear buds and other audio devices in or around my ears. JLab has been one of my go-to brands. I wear in-ear hearing aids for minor hearing loss, so normally am not getting in-ear audio devices. However, working from home has changed my routine in wearing my hearing aids as I am not speaking directly to people in person.
These GO Air Pop buds work GREAT for me while zooming for work, or listening . They connected in a snap to my laptop, mobile phone and tablet! They are very comfortable for me, even though I have 'small' ear canals. In the past, many ear buds just would not go in my ears, so this is wonderful!!!
The mic works very well. I have used these with several clients and have asked them to rate my audio and they all indicated that it was great. I actually feel pretty natural wearing these and note that not having on a big headset does not distort my image online.

Solid, lightweight chromebook

I was looking for a lightweight laptop to use out in the pasture. I am a good rancher and we keep a lot of data on our goats, such as weight, condition, etc. I have an app that I had been using on my phone, but dirty hands and small screen made this frustrating, so we used paper records and transferred them to the app at the house.
I was loath to take my expensive laptop out in the 'wild' so I decided an Acer chromebook might work well---- and it does!!!!! The chromebook came packed in a sturdy box without any extra stuff... just the chromebook and charger setup. I put it right to work, downloading the livestock record keeping app and logging in.
First, it weighs very little and is super thin, easily fitting into any backpack or bag. It's light enough I can balance it on one hand, as in the picture. The hinge allows all angles for the screen. Second, the keyboard and touch pad are solid and feel very sturdy. The keys move firmly and distinctly, so I know I am typing! And the screen is perfect, even in sunlight. NOTE: This does NOT have a touchscreen.... and I did not want a touchscreen for using outdoors...
I took it out to a pasture, got internet access through my phone's hot spot and bluetooth, and was able to input data as it was collected! When I got back to the house, I used a soft cloth to wipe away the dust, and it was ready for use in other ways. I set up a guest account so visitors and customers could have easy access to a chromebook while visiting. When not in the field, I leave it available in the living room for anyone's use. I expect this little jewel to last for a long time like all of the other Acer products I have.

Easy to install, good coverage outside metal bldg

I was anxious to get a new 'better' router, and the Surfboard Max seemed like it would fill the bill. I live in a metal house (barndominium) with metal walls and roof and it's also two stories. We have good wireless broadband, but sometimes the signal doesn't follow us to the porch. (which also has a metal roof). So, the search for a new router system (daresay my current one is generations old!)
Taking the two surfboards out of the box was harder than installing the software. As usual, the 'cover sleeve' of the box was torn in trying to slide it off. Alas. Once I opened the box, the two units and their power cords were easilly accessed. Instructions were to download a program (google or iOS) and go from there. This was simple, but I wish they also had a microsoft store program.....
The step-by-step instructions were great and allowed me to easily follow along and get the new router installed. Note that it does take a few minutes to go from one step to the next because it is configuring itself, so don't get impatient! At the SSID screen, I was able to reuse the same network name and password, which saved me from having to update every device in the house!
The signal is very strong, even outside the house. The barn is 40 x 80 feet, so I was pleased that it worked so well. While we do have broadband wifi, it is not a super high speed. These new routers drop very little speed as compared to plugging with cable directly into router, so the TV runs streaming a lot better!

Is this a good laptop for a college student?
Yes. The size is great for carrying around, yet it doesn't cost as much as a mac. Unless you are doing heavy CAD work, this machine should handle anything a student needs.
