This is the setup that I purchased to maintain a constant charge on a second controller. It works well and looks good too. Comes with everything except the controllers, includes replacement battery covers to allow the contacts of the charger connect to the battery without opening or plugging anything in. Comes with its own AC adapter, so you don't have to tether it to your xBox.

The keyboard and mouse are hardwired, and the keyboard doesn't have any extra ports, so both have to plug into the unit. If you want to replace with a wireless setup, that would not be a problem.
