Only gripe is Best Buy used outside agency to install it and they put it in loose. it cost me over $200 to install and the installers made the opening to big and the stove moves. The cooktop is very nice and great quality.

Durability of the racks
The interior is stainless steel - but what about the racks? - I have a 10 year old Amana that still runs fine but the pvc coated rack is corroded with rust and sharp tips. Of course, I cannot purchase the racks. Are the racks pvc coated of nylon coated? Would love a dishwasher with stainless steel racks.

How long does it take to complete wash and dry cycle?
Comments suggest it takes more than 2 1/2 hours is that correct? That is a looooong time.

What effect does the dry cycle exhaust on the Kitchen Aide dishwasher have on the surrounding cabinet?
The hot air exhausting from the dry cycle comes out on the cabinets. I would think that the heat and moisture hitting the cabinet will warp and discolor the cabinet. I would rather have a model that expells the heat in the front like my older Kitchen Aide but I can't find a model that still does this.
Almost all of them do it these days. Just keep wiping the counter down.
