To start off, the router works great. It is stable and has excellent WiFi coverage. Plenty of Ethernet ports and two USB ports are great features too. For many people this would be the perfect home router. My only real beef is that the advanced configuration options are sorely lacking. I realize that many people just want to plug it in and have it work. But I miss being able to tweak the fine points of the configuration. I found no way to block individual ports, or set specific channels in the 5Ghz set up for example. Why not include a wizard for people who want simple set up and still provide true advanced access to fine tune the set up for those of us who want it. I will probably go ahead and put open source firmware on it so I can configure it the way I want.

Good first home security device

Installation was fairly simple. The instructions were pretty basic, but more detailed help is available online. It took a little trial and error to get the motion detector sensitivity adjusted. I finally settled on the least sensitive setting. Anything more sensitive picked up cars passing by on the street about 30 feet away. Overall I am very satisfied with the Ring video door bell. I can check before I answer the door and see when deliveries are made even when I'm away. One slight negative is that by the time my phone alerts (via the Ring app) that there is someone at the door and I get the app open to respond, there is a significant delay. Often people have given up and are leaving by the time I can respond remotely.

This is a very powerful blender. It's simple to use. I just press smoothie and walk away. When I come back I have a perfect smoothie. No chunks of frozen fruit, just a perfect smoothie. At first I didn’t think I would use the extra jars, but I found the jars and lids come in very handy. Another big plus is that it all is dishwasher safe.

As a long time fan of Otterbox cases, I didn't even look for alternatives when I purchased my new Galaxy S8. The protective case is excellent and has already protected my phone from a couple of drops. The case allows good access to the curved edge of the phone screen. The belt clip seems solid and holds firmly. However, I'm not thrilled with the side load (instead of top load) on the holster. It's really awkward to remove and replace the phone in the holster. Plus it's way too easy to accidently not completely lock the phone back in, thus the couple of times the phone dropped. So, I'm giving this one 4 stars instead of 5 due to the awkward side load holster.

When you convert vinyl to mp3 is the exact same sound quality?
I can’t say it’s exactly the same. The quality will depend on the bit rate and how much clipping there is. For regular rock and pop recorded at 256 bps or better, I personally can’t tell a difference. Although some people can. For opera and classical, I can hear a slight difference if I listen closely.

I have a Spectrum/T Warner modem with 4 ethernet ports. I have the need for 5 connections. Would this be a solution? If so, does the switch actually plug into the Modem and could this effect speed and connectivity. I also have an Eero to plug in.

I don’t think this is the device you need if you aren’t experiencing weak signal strength in certain areas. What this device does is connect wirelessly to your existing wireless access point and boost the signal in the area where it is plugged in. It broadcasts its ID by default as <your exiting wireless access ID> with -EXT appended to the end. I found a nice little overlapping circles diagram on the Netgear support website that illustrates how it helps extend the signal. Hope this helps.

What happens if I live in a old house with no electric to a door bell.What or how does one hook it up then ?
You might want to consider one of the other models. Some are battery operated. This one (Ring Pro) hooks up to an existing doorbell transformer. Otherwise consider getting an electrician to install a doorbell transformer and fish the wires. (Fishing wire in an old house is a pain....)

Is there a monthly fee required for this doorbell
There is a subscription plan available that lets you store the recordings in the cloud (and share them when you choose). But it is not required. It still works via the app, you just can't save the recordings. The annual subscription is currently $30 (per year) for one device.
