I bought this to help with power outages. The day before yesterday we lost power. The unit worked as advertised. Tonight, not so lucky. Apparently for some reason it didn't recharge after being used.

I guess this is a one and done piece of equipment.

Doesn't work from beginning.

You buy these things with hope that you never have to use them. Now if you have to use them you expect them to work. I bought and picked up June 4, 2016 (less than 3 weeks ago). I plugged it in for the required 8 hours of charging. Then plugged in an aquarium pump.

Low and behold this morning at 3 am we loose power. I thought great we will see if the backup battery works. Guess what, it doesn't. Thankfully I was up it I could've had a flood.

I would not recommend this to anybody.
