Wireless printing is very limited with Apple

Nice printer with good features for the price. Duplex (2-sided) printing is a breeze. But don't be fooled thinking because it is wireless you'll be able to use it with your Apple iPad & iPhone. You need to download an app from Canon & it only provides very limited things you can actually print. If you want a printer that will print everything wirelessly using an iPad or iPhone, you have to get one that says AirPrint in addition to wireless. The store techs didn't know this & incorrectly told me any wireless printer will work with an iPhone. Well it does work but is very limited. My yes recommendation is based on not needing to print from Apple iPhone or iPad.

Fit and installed with no problem. You need to run about 6-8 glasses of water through it to purge the air. Be prepared for it to splash a little as the air gushes out of the water dispenser. If water dispenser leaks after installation be sure to check if you tightened the filter all the way and then run another 6-8 glasses of water through it.

We like this frig a lot. Has plenty of room and the upper drawer can be opened without opening the doors. This is a real plus over models where the drawer is behind the doors. You then have to open both doors to open the drawer. This 2 drawer, 2 door Samsung is way better. If you have a problem with water dispenser leaking, make sure the water filter is completely tightened & then run at least a gallon of water through it. Controls are easy to use & well thought out. Nice & bright lighting. Makes ice quickly. Only minus was there is only 1 door shelf that can accommodate tall things like a gallon of milk unless you remove one. This means you have to open one of the shelves for additional tall items, but it is very roomy for the size.

Installed pretty easily. Instructions are a little poor if you've never installed one before. Operating instructions that came in the box are very poor. Download the manual from Samsung instead. Removal of the grill to install the charcoal filter was tricky. Broke it because it wasn't clear that you have to slide it to left before removing it. Even then the grill was stiff to remove & easily damaged. Samsung did send me a new one with no problem for free. on the Plus side the sensor cooking works very well, well built, like the large turntable. Other minuses: you can't use the timer & the microwave at the same time!; Has a lot of reheat options and some of the autocook options are a little unusual for example fresh prawns. Not to likely I'll be doing those anytime soon. Overall, I would buy again but only if it is on sale for a good price.

No filter design, doesn't mean easier care

I primarily bought the unit instead of some of the others because it did not require a filter. So it sounded like a lot less mess & ease of care. However, the humidifier has a heating element that must be cleaned at least every other day using vinegar. I have soft water & the minerals still build up & are hard to remove. It is easy to use & does work properly. However, I would have chosen an ultrasonic design without a filter for easier care even though they cost more.

If you don't want to spend a lot more money on a home theater sound system, this is a good option to improve sound from your TV, DVD, etc. Surround sound simulation is good for a sound bar device. Instructions were poor have you connect from DVR cable box to the sound bar then the TV. While this works and eliminates the need to use 2 remotes, it means any other components, like a ROKU, will not output thru the sound bar. However, you can bypass this by connecting all components to the TV & using the supplied audio cable (or purchase a digital audio cable) from the TV out. However, this work around means you have to use 2 remotes, 1 for the sound bar & 1 for DVR & TV. I contacted Samsung & the maker of my universal remote and for some reason Samsung has made the AirTrack so that it can't be controlled by any other remote controls than the 1 supplied. Very poor engineering in my opinion.

does it come with a three pronged plug or do you have to hard wire it ?
It has standard 3 prong plug but should be on a 20 amp breaker.

Home theater connection and source question.
I brought a VIZIO - M-Series - 55" Class (54-5/8" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - 240Hz - Smart - 3D - HDTV 3 months ago, brought this sound bar a week later and connected the sound bar and it works. I followed the instructions connecting it from the Comcast cable box HDMI into the sound bar, and out the sound bar into the TV HDMI. Since its a smart TV with apps, the only way I could figure out how to play movies through the apps or PS4 is to use a yellow audio cord and switch to AUX source. Now randomly, the sub woofer doesn't want to connect. It occasionally disconnects on its own and the few times it did all I did was turn it off and turn it back on. All I have been getting is the blue light blinking for the last week. I follow the instructions the best way I can understand by resetting it but all it ever does is the blue light stops blinking for 5 seconds, red light comes on and back to it blinking again. So the questions I have are
1.) Can I use the sound bar without having to change sources to do everything and getting the sound bar to come on when the TV comes one because I currently have to turn all three items on using single remotes for all three.
2.) How to fix the sub woofer issue, since its been a few months, I don't know if I can call geek squad and they help me trouble shoot it and if it is a problem with the item, does it have a manufactures warranty?

Not sure what your 3rd device is, but the Soundbar will only work with the provided remote. You can however get it to play regardless of your device connected if you us an optical audio cable connected from the TV out to the Soundbar in. You have to turn the Soundbar on when you want to use it but it will turn off after a short time if it receives no signal from the TV (TV turned off). Regarding the subwoofer, I suggest you follow the instructions for "pairing" the soundbar & wireless subwoofer that are in the soundbar's instruction manual.

I need a replacement remote for my samsung sound bar.
I have the Samsung 2.1ch home theatre sound bar with wireless subwoofer model #HWF450 and have lost the remote. Can you tell me where I can find it?
Unfortunately you will have to buy it from Samsung. A universal remote will not work. This was the only thing that I didn't like about my Soundbar. Really poor design by Samsung on an otherwise great product. Search in your cushions & under everything again because if you can't find it, Samsung is the only solution.

Comcast Remote Code
Can someone who has a COMCAST remote (silver dvr remote RED ok select button) please tell me the code to sync with the hw-f450? I looked around and no code numbers are coming up. I just want to control the volume with this tv remote. TY
It appears that Samsung does not provide any codes & other remotes don't work. You can work around this by connecting from your cable box (out) to the AirTrack (in) then the Airtrack (out) to TV (in). [Note: you must use HDMI cables for this.] Then it is your TV controlling the sound. Downside, any device not going through your cable box will not be outputted to the AirTrack.

Optimum IO Remote and Samsung Sound Bar
My Optimum IO remote turns my Samsung F7100 TV on and off and allows me to control the sound up and down. Will this remote allow me to also allow me to control the HWF450 soundbar?
It depends. If you connect from the AirTrack HDMI output to your TV with an HDMI, then the TV is controlling the sound. If you have other devices that you want to use the AirTrack with & connect the AirTrack to your TV using the TV's audio out (or digital audio out) then it probably won't allow control of the AirTrack with your non-AirTrack remote . My universal remote is very good, but the AirTrack is the 1st device I have found that doesn't work.
