Samsung continues to earn my trust and loyalty with another excellent product in this appliance. I own Samsung tech from cell phones to large appliances and everything in between. Way to go Samsung! Keep the competitive pressure on the so-called "US" brands that rust after one year (i.e., my 2012 K#nm#re Elite W/D that has rust around the washer casing... unacceptable and never again).

Samsung continues to make superior products from cell phones to large appliances. Very happy with the performance and stye of these units (purchases both the washer and dryer). Five stars for Samsung and another great product offering.

What's great about it: Appears to be built for the long haul and the simple design is elegant and attractive.
What's not so great: These units are very large - both the washer and dryer were scuffed during the install due to the oversized casing.

How do I know if I have a C-wire in the wall where my old Honeywell thermostat was? Is there a way to make this work if I do not have a c-wire?
My thermostat for this installation also lacked the c wire so I had to choose between the work around provided by Honeywell or bring in a pro to rewire the connection. Opted for the professional installer, but would have saved $400 on the DIY. Know that the workaround means you'll lose manual fan control, but the fan runs fine when the system calls for heat or cool (just can't run only fan or fan in circulate mode). Great product and the fifth gen I've installed in various homes over the past few years.

Do laundry a little less often with this LG DLEY1701V 7.3 cu. ft. electric dryer. The dryer handles large loads to help save you time and energy. The SteamFresh cycle helps quickly remove wrinkles from garments.
Does this dryer need to be hooked to water line
Have gas dryer LG model DLEY 1701V
Steam has to come from somewhere. Yes, the dryer has a water line that is connected to the washer water line via a t-junction.
