We use this tool to clone customer hard drives when we upgrade their systems to SSD (see our other reviews for SSD). This works for PC and MAC. Bootable disc software is included and allows perfect duplication of an existing drive without affecting software activations. In fact, this kit allows you to clone a drive even when the original drive is larger than the replacement, so long as your original free space does not exceed the new drive's usable space.
You can also just use the included cable to read and write, to and from internal drives via USB - and is USB backward compatible.

This PNY Optima Serial ATA III solid state drive features a spacious 120GB capacity, enabling you to store plenty of digital files. Encryption support provides a reliable method of security for sensitive data.

Excellent Low Cost Solution!

Although this is not the top of the line solid state drive, it is however a fantastic deal on an SSD that provides increased reliability and speed over your typical HDD. We have installed many of these PNY solid state drives, in both the 120GB and 240GB capacity, in customer computers with awesome results. 350+ customers extremely happy!
The only complaint that we have, is that sometimes the mounting holes do not align perfectly with the brackets, off only by a couple millimeters. Sometimes slight modification to the bracket is sufficient.
