Good Story and Fun

I am a big Oblivion and Fallout fan. It took me a while to embrace this game, comparing it to those two. Once I became familiar with the menu's and game play, I began to enjoy this game for it's differences.
The thing that captured me the most about this game is the development of your character and relationships with your party members. You are faced with choices that will drive the direction of your relationships throughout the game. This is one of the things that gives the game replay value for me (what if I choose this, or did that differently). This made me more engaged with my companions and I found myself chosing my party based upon the relationships and not the skill sets. The conversations between other party memebers as your traveling is telling and sometimes clever.
Graphically the game is under par for PS3, combat is typical for an RPG, digalog/reaction between characters is good.
What's great about it: Character delvelopment and interaction
What's not so great: Graphically falls short

The empire of Tamriel is on the verge of total collapse. The Emperor is dead. Desperate factions, mad with the scent of power wafting up their noses, compete for control of the throne. To make matters worse, the gates of Oblivion have opened and vicious demons are laying waste to the land. The tide of darkness must be turned. The solidarity of the empire must be restored. Are you ready to save Tamriel? The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion continues the exciting role playing series. You will live another life in another world, choosing from a huge number of playable characters, from a sinister assassin to a wise sorcerer. An all-new combat and magic system hammers gameplay to a new level, letting you feel the ground you walk upon and the sting of every blow in combat. Stunning graphics capture the wonder of the setting, complete with bustling towns, dark dungeons and so much more. Realistic nonplayer characters fill out the world, going about their daily routines and even engaging in unscripted conversations. Shorter challenges, such as fighting bandits and creating magical spells, will arise throughout your adventure, making this quest a rich and exhilarating gameplay experience.

Great Game

One complaint that you will not hear is that the game is too short. There is sooooooo much to do and explore.....I spend way too much time picking flowers (LOL). It takes a little while to get the hang of what you should be doing and how you should be doing it, but it is a lot of fun and hours (literally hundredreds) of entertainment. It is not for people that prefer running through scenes shooting people up, you spend most of your time exploring and collecting. It is worth the money just for the game time that you will get out of it. Especially if your like me and don't replay games often. Once I'm through a game I will trade it in for a new one.

Penny Marshall's film about female professional baseball players, A League of Their Own, comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, and French as well as Spanish soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish and Korean subtitles are accessible. Although the disc is technically sound, there are no supplemental materials of any consequence. This is a solid, but unspectacular disc from Columbia/TriStar.

This was a really good, funny movie. It is one of those movies I can watch over and over again. Good story, notable cast and a lot of fun.

There was a magical time in music known as the 1980s. It was an era when big hair, tight clothes, new attitudes and killer tracks set the world on fire. Now you have the chance to revisit these legendary days and become an 80's rock superstar just like the greats of the past. Your spandex is tight, your hair is sprayed right — rip off killer licks and jam with all of your might.Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s is loaded with amazing songs from the 1980s that appeal to head-bangers, new-wave rockers and anyone else who loves those wild tunes. Play as your favorite Guitar Hero characters and dress them in outrageous outfits of the past. The co-op multiplayer capabilities allow two players to jam together, with one person on lead and the other on rhythm guitar. If you need to master a particular song or phrase, turn to the Practice mode and even slow down a difficult section until you learn it perfectly. Are you really an 80's bad boy — or bad girl — at heart? Then it's time to hit the stage and take your place in the pantheon of rock legends.

Worth the play time

I have all the guitar hero games and this one is not bad, but certainly not the best one. I found the songs in the first couple of sets to be easy and only the last two sets provided more difficulity. The song list is short and the songs are OK. The 80's wasn't really known for guitar playing prowess (with a few exceptions of course). It will give the guitar hero fanatics something to hold them over till GH3 is released. It think it is priced a little high for the amount of songs and lack of unlockable songs, but you will have fun with it.

I just bought the PS3 and this was the first game that I purchased. I was so impressed with the look and feel of the game. The story is good. The missions are challenging. I can't say it is the best game I've ever played, but it is worth the time. I'm looking forward to Medal of Honor.
