Please be aware that you cannot hide the speaker wire in the tubes. You have to run it up the back of the two poles. I had to use zip ties and cover my speaker wire in black tape to hide the wires as best as I could.
Otherwise, the stands are super solid, heave and at a perfect height for 6" bookshelves for a home theater.
What's great about it: Heavy, matte, nice padding for speakers, etc
What's not so great: You cannot hide the wire in the tubes
I would recommend this to a friend!
