Rarely does this thing false. Works like a charm. 2 saves in just one month. It would be nice if there were spare suction cups included, as they always go bad.
What's great about it: Accurate, easy to configure
What's not so great: Heavy, can rattle against windshield
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Direct Wire SmartCord is able to power your detector without use of your cigarette lighter power outlet, creating a clean, simple aesthetic in your interior. Works with all current generation Escort windshield mounted detectors.

Relatively easy!

The wires are long enough to fit most cars, but I would investigate a bit more if installing in an SUV. Also, with regard to the (+) red wire, it would have been nice if an alternate means of attachment to the fuse box were included. Most people have the mini fuses these days, and a jumper attachment that allows you to easily tap the fuse would have been nice and dramatically simplified the installation.
What's great about it: Installed in minutes
What's not so great: One option on the hardwiring side
I would recommend this to a friend!
