I originally had an airport network with my U-Verse service and i would have intermittent service outage as well as sub par range. I purchased this Velop system in hopes of increasing my network performance.
I was extremely impressed with the ease of setup of the Velop system, which is little more than connecting to the modem and plugging in power. After getting all three pods set up i found the range to be excellent and the service drops no longer happen.
Even better is the fact that the network flows seamlessly so there are
no alternate networks like you get with range extenders.
The Velop system also allows the setup of a guest WiFi network.
