Better but still needs new features

I had the original Automatic and it finally died on me. This new one is better because it connects wirelessly using 3G so the location services is way better and you’ll never lose the connection with the Automatic app. The interface is also better. While it’s designed to interpret engine errors for you, all it really doesn’t es is log in your drive and location. The emergency feature s good too. It does give you a monthly report of your driving habits compared to other drivers using the Automatic. For parents this is a way to keep track of kids locations.

I ordered this thinking for $50 if it does nothing it's no big deal. However it does seem to work and audio out of my Mac mini to and external DAC sounds even better. When used with the Schiit Fulla 2 DAC/amp my headphones sounded more airy and the bass is tight. One caveat though, I'm not sure the effect will be the same on every system. But it's definitely worth looking into.

Purchased 2 of these monitors for my partner and decided to get myself a dual monitor setup also. The screen is quite reflective so make sure any light you use don't hit the screen. The colors are quite good and it has USB outputs where I plugged LED bias lights. The bezel is almost invisible and that's mainly why I'm using it for a dual monitor setup.
Best but also had the best pricing for these.monitors as long as you wait for them to go on sale every few months.

Good sound

This is my second LG soundbar. I'm used to having a 7.1 setup but since I'm using this for a bedroom so 7.1 will be overkill. I find the setup of the soundbar easy enough. Once mounted on the wall and the optical cable and plugged in, you're good to go. The wireless sub is easy to setup too. I placed mine using law of thirds to reduce standing waves in the bedroom.
It can be set to auto on if a signal is received. And it can play at high levels without distortion. The sub unit will start distorting before the main unit though.
The bedroom I'm using it in is 20 ft by 20 ft by 10 ft and this soundbar can fill the room easily.

Great Secondary TV

This a great TV once properly calibrated. Make sure you enable the HDMI-CEC and if your video sources have HDMI-CEC you never have to switch inputs ever again. Everything is done for you. The TV powers up once you turn the video source on. Again you can only take advantage of this feature if your video sources have HDMI-CEC. I have Directv, AppleTV and Amazon FireTV attached to it and using the iPad app for the Apple TV and Amazon FireTV they will automatically turn the TV on and select the correct input. The Toshiba TV App works well too but it can't turn the TV on my itself. I've only had this TV for 2 months and so far so good. The blacks could be blacker but for a budget TV, it's quite good for what it is.
I'm using an LG soundbar with it since the internal speakers as with all flat screen TV don't sound good.

I see a subwoofer plug in, what subwoofer do I use ?
You can only use a power sunwoofer with it with a line level input. You'll also need to make sure the sub has a frequency cut off so the sound bar and subwoofer blends nicely.
Most new powered subwoofers have the needed controls to match the sub with the soundbar.
