My wife and I were on a trip to Scotland this summer and there were at least three different Scots that mentioned how much they appreciated the authenticity of Outlander. One of them was a tour guide of ours and he even pointed out several shooting locations while we were there.
When we got home we immediately got Season 1 and now that Season 2 is out, we got it the same day it hit the shelves. A great combination of action, romance, intrigue, and sci-fi. It's a great combo for a husband and wife to watch together. Can't wait for Season 3!

If you just want a cheap and easy way to check out Google Cardboard or other apps for VR, you really can't ask for anything more (or less) than this. Surprisingly, the button interface actually works better than a few of the more expensive and sturdier versions I tried. It makes me want to get a more expensive VR set-up but none of the ones I have tried have done that well with the iPhone, this one has actually done the best.

My wife needed a small space heater for her office and because she is a fashionista, I knew it couldn't just be any old space heater. This one does a great job and looks great doing it. I knocked one star off because she does wish it had more settings than just low and high, low just never seems to do it for her, and high gets the place just a little too toasty. Also, she forgot to turn it off one night (I knew this would happen so that is why I got a heater with a lot of safety features) but even though it got really hot in her office, it never shut off so I'm not sure what its threshold is to turn off. It did turn off when she accidentally knocked it over, so that works.

Awesome and Fun!

This is an awesome re-creation of Captain America's shield. It may not be as awesome as the metal version but it is still pretty slick. I have it hanging on my wall in my office and it looks great but is also really cool when it comes down and you pretend that you are smashing Hydra.
There are only two issues I had/have with the shield. The first shield I purchased had the strap put together wrong on one of the loops so that it was impossible to tighten and I wouldn't be able to fix it without busting it. The one that replaced it was perfect in that regard. Both shields though have an issue with some scratches on the surface of the shield and in some minor paint flecks missing. Both shields had the scratches but the second one had a bit of the plastic showing through at one of the 'seams' where the silver ring meets the outer red ring. You wouldn't notice it unless you went over it with a fine toothed comb like I did. I may even be able to touch it up with an automotive paint pen if I can find a shade that matches.
Other than those couple of issues, I am very happy with my purchase. I'm also a big fan of my Iron Man helmet but that is a story for another review!

It's amazing how this game has developed over the years. Doom has always been on the cutting edge of graphics and this one is not a slouch. Not much of a story but you don't get Doom for the story, it's for blowing away demons from h*ll in space!

Deadpool has always been a favorite character of mine but I was wary of this movie since they screwed the character up so bad in the Wolverine movie. I started to come around when I saw the leaked material and was blown away by the actual movie. Probably one of the best, true-to-character superhero movies out there. They only left out the CHIMICHANGAS!
Go get this movie, it deserves to be in every movie fan's collection!

After getting burned by the Prequels, I was hesitant when I went to see The Force Awakens but boy do I love this movie! It easily falls in right behind Empire as my all time favorite Star Wars movie (it will take a lot to knock that one off its pedestal). This disk is great because I can have it both in Blu-ray and watch it on my glorious TV, or take it with me on my iPad with the digital download, and I was able to give the DVD to my best friend who has yet to join the 21st century and get a Blu-ray player. I really should stop being friends with him... Great Blu-ray set of an awesome movie!
