I bought this TV today with the 5 year warranty. I had a Toshiba for 8 years and paid $2000, then it died. Bought an LG, paid over $700. It died after 3 years. I refused to buy another super expensive tv. Did I make a mistake with this tv.
No I don't believe you did. I got a Dynex TV from Best Buy back in 2010 and it still works great and I've moved a billion times. Insignia I guess bought out Dynex and became the new Best Buy brand. I bought an insignia a few weeks ago and have had no problem with it.
