I just purchased a 4k system and was looking for a movie that I either did not own or I had not already upgraded to Bluray. I had fond memories of Starship Troopers and I had not upgraded it from the DVD format.
As with a lot of "fond" memories, you find those memories are not as fond when you see something again and notice how mediocre it really is. Troopers is one of those films that you wonder the next go around why you liked it so much the first time.

Bridge on the River Kwai is an excellent film, but this rating is for the 4K aspect. It is not needed - there does not appear to be any significant improvement to warrant paying more money for 4K. It makes you feel like you have been ripped off.
