Comfy headsets for a noisy space

I use these with my PC in a place that is very noisy and often crowded. As soon as I slide this headset on, I'm greeted with glorious quiet. The audio is crisp, and I have no difficulty hearing it, no matter how loud the environment around me. The cups fit snugly over my ear and are comfy. I don't have to worry about taking earrings out to avoid having my ears pinched or stabbed like with some other headsets. The mic works great too. Slides out of the way when not needed and super flexible to get just right. Would definitely recommend.

The kids love to watch the movies and then go act it out. The toy has fun sounds and color changes which is nice. The app gives them objectives and the ability to gamify its use. The head-to-head feature is kinda cool and the motion sensing is overall enjoyable. It's just a fun idea and I think any kid into star wars will have a blast with or without the app. Would have loved to have had something like this when I was 6. Would have been way cooler than beating my friends down with sticks. :)

Love suspension based training!

Suspension and bodyweight based training is fantastic for people of all fitness levels. There's countless ways in which you can challenge yourself using the TRX trainer. This type of functional bodyweight training is very good for people of all ages and fitness levels as it helps you learn to manage your own body and develop the core strength necessary to get daily tasks done without difficulty or pain. It's a fantastic way to begin to develop an exercise regimen. I highly recommend anyone begin with bodyweight and then move to equipment based weights once they've developed their strength in this manner.
TRX is a solid product with reliable straps and anchors. The product is great at adjusting to people of all shapes and sizes. There are countless videos online and on their app that help you maximize your purchase. I highly recommend it!

Game Changer for a Busy Family

When I first spotted this I thought to myself, oh I need a new crock pot...mine has some age to it. I occasionally pulled the slow cooker out to toss some meat in to cook all day that way I had something prepared for dinner later. And that was pretty much all it was....a slow cooker. But this guy changes the game completely!!
But first, I had heard some people saying instant pots were good and just figured it was another kitchen fad that would soon fall out of favor for most. And I still figure that's true, but once I got a chance to use this guy I was hooked!!
A crock pot to me was always just that...a slow cooker with a ceramic crock. So I was initially a little disappointed when I opened this sucker up and found a teflon coated steel pot. I immediately thought oh man...now I'm going to have to deal with cleaning it and possibly scratching it up with metal utensils.
But that initial disappointment abated when I came to realize the steel pot had a simmer/brown/sear function. I've banged out 3 meals in this thing this week alone. It's infinitely easier to just toss everything in and brown it in one pot, and then switch over to soup or chili and cook up a rocking stew. It just makes everything that much more convenient, and leads to way less cleaning of pots/pans.
The ability to pressure cook a nutritious potato soup in 20 mins using this crock pot is huge!! I whipped up a rockin jambalaya earlier this week and made everything all in one pot in 20 mins. There is seriously nothing more convenient in the kitchen than this. Nutritious and quick meals for busy families are all possible with this thing. Get you one now!!
It takes up a lot of space and so storing is a bit of a pain. And you need to remember to use teflon safe rubber/plastic utensils in it. Aside from that I really have had no complaints.
In short summary: I love it and would recommend it!!

A Frustrating Experience

First, I want to state that I was replacing an Arlo 2 Pro system...or I thought I was.
But before I get into those details I want to say that I really do like the Arlo ecosystem. The products are pretty reliable and the video quality is always quite nice. I wish it's wireless antennas were a little more powerful so it worked better at range.
There...I've got that out of the way. So why the poor rating? Proprietary power connectors!!! What were you thinking?!?!
I get it the cameras have batteries and can be used wirelessly. However, in my experience with the devices they simply won't last much beyond a few days in a busy environment. (full disclosure, I am using this in my retail business) And then you're stuck climbing up a ladder and pulling the camera down to plug it in somewhere, which then takes time to complete...and then back up the ladder to put it back in it's place. OR, like me you have a power outlet run to the location (approx 10ft above ground to keep people from touching it).
But here's the kick in the pants...The Arlo 2 was powered by a simple usb connector. So it was easy to repurpose an old cell battery charger or the like to get the job done. The Arlo 3 uses a proprietary connector and charger. And the box kit only comes with ONE charger!!!! Why on earth they choose to do this I will never know. Here's two camera....oh but we're cheap so here's only 1 charger. Good luck!!
Secondly, the Arlo 2 came with two magnetic mounts for the wall, which were fantastic!!. The Arlo 3 only comes with 1, and some sort of bracket mount that is useful maybe in exterior setups?!
Again, I am a fan of the Arlo experience in general, but moving to some sort of proprietary power connector and not supplying enough in the box to get the job done is bush league. Now I have to purchase and wait for another power connector in order to use the second camera.

One last miserable gripe....they are still using Flash for their video streams. Flash is a major security risk and won't even be supported by Chrome beyond 12/2020. I sure hope they replace flash in their software soon.

A blender that really cooks!

It slices, it dices, it juliennes......it cooks?! Ok maybe it doesn't julienne, but it does cook. Meet the blender that can actually boil water. So you can get your cold drinks, smoothies, etc whipped up in a flash. Or if you're feeling like grinding your soup to a pulp and eating it hot....no problem!!
I don't know about you, but i'm just itching for a fondue at my next social gathering....in walks the Ninja Foodi blender that can get the job done.
But in all seriousness, it's a blender that does a fantastic job of blending iced beverages; whipping up smoothies from fruit, etc.; or if you desire...cranking out some hot stuff. There's not really a whole lot more you can say about it. In typical Ninja fashion it's a great blender with a powerful motor. It's nice that this one comes with a glass pitcher vs the typical plastic one that you get with most of these. The built in programs are nice to put it on smoothie mode and walk away. You come back to a finished beverage. And it's even got a cleaning mode that heats up the water so that you can get it clean and sanitized.
I definitely recommend!

Great little vacuum that does great with hairs

The Shark Rocket was just about like any other cordless stick vacuum. Lightweight, portable, special filter, easy to empty canister, etc. However, one of its main selling points was that it didn't buildup hair on the roller bar.
Now I've had a ton of experience with various vacuums that have made this promise so I was thinking to myself "yeah right!". Much to my surprise it was designed a little different. Instead of having the traditional bristles on a roller bar it actually has these rigid flaps that don't trap hair on the bar. So it truly does not seem to have issue with getting hair stuck on the roller bar.
Now I used this for about a month in my place of business where there are hundreds of women coming and going per day. My previous vacuum was always jamming up with hair and it was quite a nuisance to have to cut it out all the time. It seems as though this little guy is going to save me of having to perform that duty!! That's a big win!
The suction is pretty good and it seems to do a better job than most other cordless sticks I've used in the past at cutting through the bonded carpet we have, which has a tendency to trap little tiny objects like hairs and debris.
Battery life seems pretty good too. I was able to vacuum a full 2500sq ft without running out of power. It's also quite nice that the battery is detachable so you can charge it, but still put the vacuum away.
The device is lightweight, easy to use, and very easy to empty the canister into the garbage. All in all I give this one a thumbs up and would totally recommend it to a friend!

Powerful little massager

I do a fair amount of weight lifting so aches and tightness come with the territory. I've got a nagging labral issue in my shoulder that i've been dealing with. I ran this little guy on that shoulder for a good hour the other night and while it was left feeling a little sore it wasn't bothering me quite as bad during my next lift.
Today after a 5x5 set of squats I noticed some discomfort in my right quad and I used this massager on it and it was definitely providing some immediate relief. I wouldn't say gone, but was definitely helping.
The device is surprisingly powerful for a battery operated massager. The charge lifespan seems quite good so far. I can use it for about an hour. I haven't had a ton of time to use it on my back or hips, but it's quite nice on legs, arms, and neck so far.
I would highly recommend this massager!!

Fantastic Chromebook/Tablet

Hands down one of the best chromebooks. It's a fantastic form factor and makes for a very light and portable device. The attachable keyboard is ok and makes for a great cover that affords a lot of protection. I would like to have seen some smaller bezels on the display.
From a performance perspective you couldn't ask for better. The processor is one of the highest performing of any chromebook out there. It is quite snappy given just about any task you throw at it. And all that horsepower doesn't seem to hamper the battery life very much. It can sit idle for nearly a week, and under full use can go about 10 hours or so.
One of the biggest cons really with a chromebook in this touch tablet form factor is that it can be difficult to navigate and tap things with bigger hands/fingers. I manage, but would prefer a more touch-user friendly interface on the chrome os.
One thing I think is missing is a hard shell rigid keyboard to attach turning it into a laptop. The soft style keyboard case isn't the most lap friendly and results in a poor lap experience.
The screen is beautiful and has excellent resolution and clarity. The brightness is really quite good. And even at ~30% brightness is still quite viewable.
All in all it feels like a very sturdy tablet considering it's modest form factor and light weight. I highly recommend this device if you are considering a non-windows device for the kids headed off to school. It would be an excellent productivity device, and would make for great media consumption. The sounds is a bit meh, but nothing you can't remedy with a decent pair of headphones. The only other real detractor is the price tag. At the end of the day you can still get a really good Windows PC for the same price. So it all depends on your love for Chrome and need for Office. There's always Office 365 web if you absolutely must have it.
I'm quite happy with it and would give it a recommend.

So it's a wafer thin keyboard and cover all in one. It's soft to the touch and adds little to no weight to the device. It definitely is a layer of protection for the screen which is nice. I like how they provide the kickstand functionality in this keyboard vs the tablet itself. It has multiple settings for elevation which is good. The magnets inside make it stay put which is also really good. I'd say my biggest gripe is that the keys are kinda small in that they are shallow and don't have a lot of depth/play to them. So getting that tactile feedback I am used to on a keyboard simply isn't there. It definitely works well, but not my preferred input method. I will say that it is not at all well suited for a lap as it has no bottom heft to it so the device will tend to topple over on your lap as a result.

The device is carrier unlocked. I am using it on AT&T. It's safe to say it will operate on T-Mo as well.

Is this phone worth getting over an iPhone 7,I'm getting Teri's of apple and heard that google phones are really good. Also is it hard go to use to the way this phone works if ur a iPhone user. Thx for help.

How load is it? I've used an Oreck XL upright and a Eureka Mighty Mite and would hope it's no louder as those. I prefer bagged vacuums but want to try the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser because of its claims of not getting hair tangled on the roller.
It's louder than my Dyson DC28. I wouldn't say its outrageously loud, but it's got a bit of a high pitch whine to it.

What is the refresh rate?
there is no refresh rate/response time on an OLED. the pixels are instant on/off. however, there is input lag on the hdmi ports with post processing turned on. i've seen no problems with gaming on the cinema preset. if it's something that concerns you, you can simply turn on game more which disables a lot of post processing lag. but again, my assessment is that it's a moot point.

Will LG update to WOS3.0 ???? I have a EF9500 and it would be bad if they don't update it for the price we paid for this TV and I just got it in Dec 2015..

will this TV benefit from Geek Squad Calibration?
Got this TV several months ago. Think the picture is good, but not significantly better than my 2 yr. old Samsung. Got differing opinions from sales mgr. & geek tech when I asked this Q, then read calibration review from a customer on another LG TV saying the LG he had actually got worse with the Geek Squad Calibration. I don't want to waste my $, but want to make sure I'm getting the best picture I can now that I've invested the $ I did buying it. Any info out there re: 65" LG OLED 4K flat screen calibration?
make certain you're running the latest firmware from the website. the auto updater in the us isn't working properly. it's up to 4.20.75 as of today. i performed a calibration on it, and ultimately decided to go back to the preset Cinema settings. I for one prefer the brightness that comes with this preset. The colors out of the box are pretty spot on, and I actually like the Soap Opera Effect.
