I've been waiting for both of these to hit BR for a while, and now they're available as a two-pack for less than what one film often sells for. Great transfers and very pleased.
Though in this case, the fault is mine for assuming. I had hoped this would contain both the original theatrical cut in addition to the extended directors version, which I don't care for as I prefer the pacing and run time of the original. The transfer is adequate and the sound is fine, as expected, but it would have been nice if this included both versions given there's plenty of room.

It's an older tower spec-wise, but it was worth picking up thanks to a price match with a competitor. If you can find this for $300 or less, it's worth picking up and upgrading the GPU.
It follows is a love letter to 80's horror, that still manages to take place in an undisclosed time period. If you were born in the 70's or early 80's and you have yet to see this, give it a try.
This collection of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies includes Wes Craven's original entry in the series as well as A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, and Wes Craven's New Nightmare as well as a wealth of extra features.
Incomplete with questionable video quality for a BR release, and plagued with audio sync issues. I would avoid unless your television has options to correct problems with syncing audio.
