Great sound but awkward design

The sony extra bass XB70BT is a around the neck wireless headset that offers sound pushing bass with HD voice quality for cell phone talk. Right out of the box one of the first noticeable thing was the quality of the band. The band that rest around your neck appears to be a flexible silicon base product. While this may seem ideal in the way of sturdiness this tends to be a nuisance for those seeking to do heavy workouts or running. The band has no rigidity so you are able to twist it and even lay it flat on the table in a straight line. Paring the device is easy and just takes a matter of seconds all you need is a device which offers Bluetooth, which basically covers almost any current product made now. I decided to take this product to the gym to see how the head set would hold up in some high intensity workouts. One of the first things i noticed was it did not rest around my neck in a position that allowed me to tuck it away under my collar line. In fact in my opinion it looked awkward and could not be easily displaced. As i began running i noticed the headset started to shift down to my left side making it even more awkward around my neck, i assume this was due to the fact that this side probably carried more weight and without the rigidity of a normal neckband there was really nothing there to stop if from sliding. Sony provides a clip that allows you to hold your earbud wires together and adjust there position but this did not help the situation too much as far as movement was concerned. As i began to sweat more i noticed the neck band became more unstable around my neck and slid around alot more easily. I did notice the earbuds did fit firmly in my ear canal and never once did i feel they were about to fall out. The ear buds come with three different sizes to fit all needs so you shouldn't have a problem fitting them. Aside from the awkward band lets talk about sound quality, after all that's what Sony is really known for. The sound quality was awesome. I am a big fan of products that can really push the bass out without taking away from vocals and my highs or mids. One of the biggest problems i have found with wireless headsets is there ability to put out some heavy hitting bass. Now while the more expensive over the ear style will do a better job, these headsets are definitely no push over. The sound quality significantly made up for the poor design. And while i wish the battery life would of been longer, 9 hours of battery life is more then adequate to enjoy some of the superb sound quality your songs will have to offer. At the end of the day this is a good headset for the price and the main reason for 3 stars is the weird silicon design for the band.

This is probably one of the best games out right now for the VR. It plays real smooth and has alot of replay value. The good thing about this game is the motion sickness level is pretty low. This is a rollercoaster style game so the only time i really got motion sickness was on the few parts that had drops, other then that it was a really smooth game.

Vr done right

The sony ps vr allows high end vr play without having to spend an additional amout to purchase a high power pc. The quality is good and most games on the vr wont cause nausea. The VR does allow you to play non vr games however it kinda does a bad job upscaling and if you are running a non vr game you will notice alot more lag. I found that when i played non vr games the lag and poor upscale causes me to get nausea alot more easily. VR only games run smooth and look very good. The main downfall is the lack of games available at this time. The VR really shines in FP shooter games. I can see this being the new way of gaming.

Great sound quality, horrible UI

The sonos is a good affordable home wirless audio system. It offers superb sound quality at a decent price. Where it lacks is in its user interface(UI). First lets talk about the nice features. The sound quality isn't just good but its impressive. The sound quality sounded as good as some of the really high end speakers and the range is really good. You can unplug the speaker and move it to any room without having to resync everytime. The sound reverberated so good off the walls that it actually sounded like i had more speakers then one. And for some reason if the one speaker isnt enough for you the sonos one allows you to link up multiple sonos speakers including a bass for those hard hitting songs. Now heres what kills it for me. First off the sonos does not hook up to Bluetooth in the normal way, in fact it doesnt hook up at all. It requires you to link your sonos and smartphone or other such device to link up through a common wifi. This means your sonos needs a wifi device with good range. If your wifi is up stairs and the sonos is in the basement you better hope you have a strong signal or you'll get drops. Second you have to use there app and software to play your music. There app is ok but glitches out alot or at least it did for me. I have to use sonos program to access my music and couldnt use my own mp3 program. Some songs would play while others wouldnt. When i first bought the sonos one the sonos app was having problems and was down for a day and since you have to use the sonos app to play music i could not use my newly purchased sonos until the next day. If i could do it over even though the sound quality is good, i would purchase a more expensive speaker that hooks up directly through bluetooth and not have to rely on a seperate program to run the system

(This review is on the 32g 5 inch screen pixel not the the pixel xl.) Google comes hot out of the gate with their pixel and pixel xl hoping to compete in a smartphone market dominated by big names that have been at it for much longer. Google has made some big claims in what their phone can do, so let's go over some of the features and help decide if this is the right phone for you. Right out of the box the phone looks very well made and almost classy looking. There are no buttons on the front or rear of the phone giving it a more uniformed and sleek look. The only buttons you will find are the power and volume buttons both located on the right side of the phone. The front of the phone houses the forward facing camera which is a 8mp camera. Nothing to really brag about but it gets the job done. On the back side of the phone you will find the 12.3 mp camera located in the upper corner and a fingerprint scanner located almost directly in the middle of the phone. Let's talk about these features real quick. The camera is a low light 12.3 mp lens which can take really impressive photos in just about any light except complete darkness. The pixel doesn't come with very many factory features built in to the phone for photo shopping but with this being an Android based phone there many apps or add-ons you can download to enhance your photos further. The fingerprint scanner being on the backside of the phone is a feature I really liked. You hold the phone like you normally would and simple place your finger over the scanner and the phone unlocks. I like this feature due to the fact that it's very accurate and discreet. Nobody could tell what I was doing and even at first glance I didn't recognize the fingerprint scanner due to how well it blended in with the phone. If this is not your thing then no worries. The scanner as a means to unlock your phone can be disabled. The screen is a very vibrant and bright FHD AMOLED screen allowing you to view video playback in 4k quality. Not only can you view 4k quality but you can also stream 4k quality from your phone to your t.v. or tablet. The screen is protected with gorilla glass 4. What this means to you is that it comes with a screen able to resist minor scratches and cracks. And while nothing is ever guaranteed the screen is supposed to be able to survive a direct drop on to concrete. On thing I did notice almost immediately with the screen is how resistant it is to oils from your fingers. With my other smartphones I was always having to clean the phone due to all the smudges and marks left behind from usage. I have yet to have any marks left behind that required the screen to be cleaned. So what separates the Google phone from the rest? For starters there is no access for an SD card, in fact there is no option for a SD card meaning no need to go out and buy expensive memory cards that holds a lot of gigabytes of storage. At first I thought this was a bad idea but I was wrong. Google makes it very easy to transfer all your videos and photos from your current phone or SD card regardless on rather if it's an Android or iOS phone. No more having to put all your photos on a SD card and worrying about losing them if something happens to that card. Also you no longer need to worry about purchasing extra cloud storage for all your photos or videos when you run out because Google offers unlimited storage for photos and videos. You can now capture all of life's moments without worry or regret. The Google pixel also introduces a new charging cable, one that I'm not particularly to fond of. The pixel uses a type- C USB cable to charge the phone instead of the micro SD cable. This is done to increase charging speed and while it is effective, taking a 20% charged phone up to a full charge in just under 20 mins, it's a new feature I'm going to have to get used to. The pixel comes with a very fast snapdragon processor and 4gbs of RAM allowing for very fast multi-tasking and video streaming. I noticed when pulling up apps such as Facebook they would appear almost instantly after tapping them open. Never once have I received lag or lockups. The Google phone also comes with its own personal assistant and while I've seen other Android phones try to implement this feature, they have always come short. Simply speak "OK google" to your phone, even if the screen is off your personal assistant opens your phone and ask what she can help you with. The A.I. is actually pretty smart and can do simple things such as tell you a funny joke or give translation of almost any language you may encounter. This was a feature I actually found myself using quite a bit. All in all this is a great phone to have and my only real complaint is the lack of simplicity in changing the UI or user interface. I found that trying to customize little things like showing actual battery percentage level instead of a battery bar was a little more complicated than I would of liked. This is a personal pet peeve of mine and may not effect you.

Very Impressive

Bose newest line offers active noise cancelling with superb sound quality in the form of a wireless around the neck ear bud. Lets dive right into some of the features, the good, the bad, and if this is the right fit for you. The Bose quietcontrol 30 offers a 10 hour battery life on a full charge and comes packaged with three different earbud styles ranging from small, medium, and large depending on ear size. A nice feature added to the battery life is a audible voice that lets you know what percentage battery life you're at every time you turn the earbuds on. The headset comes package in a pretty fancy looking box which comes with a protective carrying case for your headphones. Setting up the wireless earbuds is as easy as turning on the bluetooth feature on you cellphone or other such device and simply powering on the headphones. Most cellphones and mp3 players will simply ask if the bose quietcontrol is the device you wish to pair. After confirming you are good to go. Bose does not claim the product to be water resistant or sweat resistant however i have actively taken this to the gym and so far have not found sweat to be an issue, simply put just don't go swimming or take a shower with these on and you should be ok. The headset comes with two volume controls, one is for you music and the other is to control how much outside noise you wish to let in or block. Lets talk a bit about the sound control. Well im not exactly sure on the exact amount of db the QC30 allows, its safe to say that most competitors are about 20-35db and this headset seems to be right around that area. If you are curious to know how much it cancels out simply put your finger tips in your ears and you'll get a rough idea as to how much noise you'll actually receive. The earbuds will not eliminate outside noise completely, you will still be able to hear people talking but everything will sound muffled and distant. Don't let this turn you off though, while it may not eliminate 100% of outside noise pollution it does bring it down enough for the quality of your music to sound superb. With outside noise not easily able to penetrate your headphones, you are now able to hear your music the way it was meant to be heard. i was able to hear all my highs and lows so perfectly it was almost like i was listening to my songs for the first time again. Another thing i noticed is with the noise cancellation turned all the way up and my music playing, i was completely oblivious to the environment around me, meaning i could not hearing any other noise other then my music playing. This is the part where the noise cancellation really shines. Another nice feature the QC30 has is a side mic and speaker which allows your voice to be heard through the headphones. This is a nice feature so in the event you need to talk to someone you don't have to take your headphones off and you won't find yourself yelling loud enough for the whole room to hear. Now the neckband, while i have never been a big fan of wireless neck bands simply because they look bulky and usually aren't too comfortable to wear Bose has done this one right. The neckband on this set up is necessary because it houses the processors needed for noise cancellation and quality sound control. But Bose does what it always seems to accomplish and take something ordinary and make it look sleek and stylish. The neckband is black and very low profile so most the time others wont even see it because it will be hidden under your shirts collar line if you are wearing a regular tee. The neckband was so comfortable that half the time i didn't even noticed i had it on and the only reason i didn't go to bed with it on was because i saw my earbuds hanging around my neck. Bose has never been known to be cheap price wise so lets discuss if this is the right fit for you. If you spend alot of time on public transportation (i.e. subway, busses or airplanes) and you need to feel alone in a place that's bustling with noise, then this is right for you. If you spend alot of time at the gym like i do you, then this is right for you. You know that it can be sometimes very difficult to get into your music while others around you are spending most of there time talking and see whos doing what this weekend. I was really impressed by how well i was able to focus better on my workouts and how much it actually cancelled out the whole gym. If you are a person who likes to hear the whole song in its entirety including clear lyrics, with clear lows,mids, and highs then this is right for you. I was so impressed as to how well these little earbuds could put out sound. The QC30 sounded almost as good as some of my higher end full size over the hear wired headphones. I mean the sound quality is so impressive that i found myself using these more often then some of my bigger style brand name headphones. The sound quality on these wireless earbuds is going to be very hard to match against other wireless earbuds.

Nothing special but the color. The color is a nice bold color. It performs the same as the standard controller. Only complaint is that sony does not provide a usb cable with it. So if your old cable is bad, dont expect to see one with the new controller.

A must for pet owners

Many vacuums offer many functions so how do you pick one thats right for you? If your a pet owner then this is the one for you. At first glanced nothing looks too different versus other vacuum cleaners I've owned in the past. So lets talk about the good and the bad.
The good:
-Easy setup, nothing complicated to do everything just snaps in place.
-Comes with with a febreeze filter as an add on. This is nice because lets say your having company over so you want to do a quick vacuum. You can take the regular air filter out (which by the way is a hepa filter, which is good for people with allergies) and replace it with a febreeze air filter. This filter emits a fresh sent which filled the whole house. My old vacuum did not offer this feature and over time it would actually start to emit a real musty smell. Also my old vacuum did not have a hepa filter so i would not vacuum when i knew people were coming over who had strong pet allergies.
-Attachments. There are a couple of cool attachments. One being a nifty slim attachment with a built in light for getting along the edes of your furniture. This is perfect for pet owners of light haired animals. If you have a animal with light hair you know that sometimes it can be hard to see hair on hardwood floor sometimes. The added light makes it easier not to miss certain hard to see spots. You can scroll across the floor and the light will illuminate all the hair for you to easily pick up with the attachment.
-Tangle free roller. This is a big upgrade for me. Everytime i would vacuum with my old cleaners i would have to cut or pull the hair out of the rollers when i was done cleaning. This is a main reason i hated vacuuming. With bissel they designed a roller that will not tangle. This is no joke, i have yet to see any hair get tangled and i have used this vacuum at least 5 times already. I understand this isnt very much usage but to not see a single strand tangled yet is impressive given how much hair most long haired animals can shed.
-Easy cleaning. Emptying the dirt tank could not be easier. With my old vacuum all my pet hair would get pulled to the top of the tank and would not empty. I would then be forced to have to stick my hand in there and pull the rest out. The bissel dirt tank has something they call the cyclonic pet hair spooling system. Basically what this is, is tiny little spikes( plastic and not sharp, so dont worry) that sit near the top of the tank forcing the pet hair to stay low and keep spinning. When your done just hold the tank over a trash can and push the trap release button. Out comes all the hair and there is nothing you need to pull out. This design feature does what it was intended to do.

I had bought this for my wife cause she's in to the fitbit brand. I'll give as much info as i can based on what I've seen so far. The watch has a really good battery life. It's been getting about 5 days on a full charge depending of course on usage. The screen display isnt too bad either. Its not as crisp as some of the other competitors out there but its not horrible either. One feature that i like is it gives you the time but directly above the time you have 3 quick links that display heart rate, steps, and calories burned. This is pretty cool cause you dont have to scroll to see where your at. Everytime you check your watch you can see how well your doing with your fitness. The watch allows you link up with your phone so you can get calls and text messages directly to your watch. I was kinda impressed to see that text messages recieved on the watch were full text messages and were not cut short. This allows you to be on a treadmill for example and be able to read the whole message on your watch regardless of how long it is and not have to pull your phone out. The one thing i thought was awkward was the way its charged. The whole screen pops out of the watch and is placed into this bulky square capsule with is then plugged into the wall. I dont understand why it wasn't designed to plug directly into the watch similar to the fitbit hr. Over all though my wife has been very happy with it and if your a fan of fitness watches i believe you will be very satisfied with this purchase.

Just to give you an insight on what this router can do let me tell you whats being powered. I live in a 3 story 3000sq ft house with 2 wireless computers, 3 tablets, a pc gaming system and ps4. I have 3 smart t.v and 3 kids who all like to watch netflix on 3 seperate t.v. i have my router set up on the third floor which i know is not a good place but due to the layout of the house it was the easiest because i have cable. I have tried all kinds of different routers. The last one i used was a netgear range max dual band. This router did ok but would not reach the basement. I had to buy a wifi booster just to get service in the basement. The current router i was using before the linksys was the comcast docsis 3.0 wireless router and moden combined. This router was a big step up and was able to send signal all the way down to the basement. The comcast router was a typical dual band running 2.4ghz for your standard needs and 5ghz for highspeed streaming. The main issue i had was constant dropouts. When i had more then one person streaming media i would experience lag then for some reason the wireless side of the modem would stop functioning. Now mind you this is a $200 modem so its not exactly cheap like ths netgear but yet the netgear out performed at closer range. I was frustrated until i got the linksys ac5400. First impression of this router was that it looked like a beast. Its not small and its packing 8 adjustable antennas with 8 ethernet ports. This is a tri-band router meaning it runs the typical 2.4ghz band, 5ghz band and a 5+ ghz band. Basically its streaming two 5ghz bands to allow multiple streaming and gaming. This is ideal for people who have large families, roommates or a business that allows customers to access the company wifi. This router is different in another aspect that many may like. It allows you to download the linksys app which allows you to access your router anytime from anywhere. While accessing the app you can change many things such as router name, password, security access etc. But one nice feature is it allows you to see whos tapped into your router. So if you have a nosey neighbor who maybe got lucky and crakced your code you see them and kick them off your router and even block their isp for future access. It also allows you to set up guest passes and set up how much access they are allowed to your internet. This is ideal for buisness owners who want to give there customers a little luxury without compromising bandwith for the rest of the company. Im now getting full bars even in my basement. Im running 80megs of internet and in the lowest level of my house im able to stream 70 megs on just the 2.4ghz band. I have never been able to do this on any router i have owned. I know the price tag is steep but you definitely get what you pay for. There is so much more this router does that i just dont have the time to explain it all. You will not be disappointed.

I can’t use the Bose -noise-masking-sleepbuds-white to Make phone call.
No you can't . They were designed to deliver white noise only and that's it. You can not make phone calls or listen to music and this is all due to the very small design that Bose went with in order to provide comfort. They wanted to sacrifice multiple function capability in order to gain comfort which i think was a good move since these are designed as a sleep aid that you can sleep with and not a headphone set up.

Can you use these at work to drown out a loud talkative coworker?
ya i suppose you could especially since the noise cancellation is more geared towards cancelling out vocal sounds. Higher frequency will still enter but vocal sounds such as a co worker talking non stop should not be a problem at all.

If the product does support Dolby Atmos, why don't you list that in the description or specifications? Also, why doesnt it show up when I filter for Dolby Atmos sound bars? You should fix your site.
I think the reason being and may i be wrong but is due to the fact that it does support the Atmos surround sound but while it supports it in order to get a true Atmos sound you need a 7.1 set up and not a 2.1. The reason its not a key feature is because i think it would lead to a kind of false advertising. Its still listed under having Dolby Atmos because this set up allows for the add on of additional speakers allowing you to turn it in to a 7.1 set up therefore utilizing true Dolby Atmos. Hope this helps!

it will depend on how close the docks are to eachother. In all reality as long as there is some distance you should be ok. But keep in mind these are running on radio frequency that the tower produces so the possibility for interference will always be there.

Purchased in June. Just recently cubes have been tasting plasticy. Looked online as to why. Some said to clean it with vinegar and water a couple cycles. It worked for maybe 2 batches then started tasting funny again. Anyone experiencing same thing?
So usually vinger/water mix does the trick. If your ice maker still taste likes plastic after then you may need to contact the manufacturer. The water lines are plastic and most likely what is going on is you have a defective water line. The bonding that seals it may be giving away.

how do you clean it?
You can clean it a couple different ways. One way is to pull the ice tray which can then be cleaned in the dishwasher. The actual ice maker itself cannot be submerged, it would have to be wiped down with a sponge and soap and water. Another way to clean that i find works best for me is filling the water tank with water mixed with vinger and lime and running the ice maker. This way it runs through all the water pipes and also cleans the ice tubes. Only down fall to this is you would have to run a couple cycles of clean water after to flush out the vinger/lime water mix or else your cubes may have a sour taste.

well if your just working out or sparing this will be perfect. The twist lock feature makes it so that you should be able to push yourself very hard without the worry of them falling out.
