It will work with phones that have a camera lense that you can cover with the lense. Unless you have a phone with the camera in the middle of the phone you shouldn't have a problem.

How do I link chrome with a smart tv
From what I have seen it's not possible link them. You run the apps through your smart phone or tablet. The chromecast runs on the screen and when you open the Smart TV it opens a stream to see you can't run both apps on the same screen at the same time.
