I use turbotax every year. This year you had to buy the deluxe edition as opposed to the basic edition to get certain features. TurboTax had a $25 refund offer that i didn't find out about until after it expired. Next year i hope they publish a capable basic edition or i might have to switch vendors.

I was told this version of Turbo Tax also allows you to file your state return,can you tell me if that is correct or not ?
You can file your state with the basic version of tt but it is not free - additional cost.

Will these work with an electric guitar?
They should but you will probably need an adapter to go from 1/8" headphone jack to 1/4". You don' t need to get the whole extension kit shown but it was the first related item that came up in my search to show you what i mean.
