I loves everything about the little unit with one exception; you cant use bleach. I planned on using it the other day to wash white socks but read the instructions and bleach is prohibited. Other than that, we really like it. It alos has decent capacity for a separate washer.

Can the SideKick do a wash load when you are not doing a load in the big machine?
Yes. This is a separate washer from the standard washer. It has its own power source and settings. You can use them together or separately.
