The drawer feature is pretty handy, you can dump clothes in there real quick while doing laundry in a hurry or use for storage. Pedestals to help raise the units up to mid height, easy on the back for sure since the front loaders sit lower to the ground and way better then reaching over top loaders for shorter folks.

LG is the way to go. Looks great and plenty of storage space up top and down in the freezer. French door is the way to go. Family of 5 here and everything goes up top more so then the freezer. It's a vacuum. Does it's job very well. Suction is great. A little muscle is needed at first but once it gets rolling it works perfectly. I do have a bit higher carpet than norm, so it may be the reason. I would purchase again and I do recommend this one.

Is the water filter included with the fridge, or do I need to buy it separately? If so, what filter do you recommend?
Yes it is included. At least with my purchase and delivery. My salesman made sure I had everything upon delivery. I only purchased the warranty, and the water hose. I did not purchase the filter, so yes it was included. I havent pulled it out yet, but the fridge will alert you when its time to change, and the filter will me marked.
