Based on the adaptation of a BBC miniseries of the same name, House of Cards is set in Washington, D.C., where democrat Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) serves as the House Majority Whip and represents South Carolina's 5th congressional district. When he is not appointed as Secretary of State as expected, Underwood vows to exact revenge upon those whom he feels betrayed him. Robin Wright, Kate Mara, and Corey Stoll also star.
