can I use the stands that I have my old play 5s on?
Don't know what stands you have for your last Gen Play:5 but I assume you can as the latest Play:5 allows you to use it horizontal or vertical

can you stream non-paid music services (i.e. Pandora, Spotify, etc)
Yes you can stream free services like Pandora, Songza, Bantanga and others. There are a bunch of options for free as well as your subscription based services. If you have lets say SiriusXM radio for your car you can enter your log on info and stream SiriusXM and Apple Music is coming soon.
