I wasn't too happy about having to have to plug this into a power outlet to use. I have an all USB cable that works great to clone SSD's and does not require the external power. Still a good choice is you need old school port options.

You won't get more bang for your buck in any other upgrade like you will from a SSD. Samsung makes the best and most reliable drives in my opinion.
