I totally wasn't going to get a case when I bought my new Macbook Air, but the fella who graciously handed me my precious showed them to me and I saw a pink one. It was love at first sight and I haven't looked at precious without the case since I first unwrapped her.
Why 4 stars?
It shows a lot of scratches. Granted, I carry it in my rather large purse, but nothing is touching it and it's even now in another padded case too. Still, for the money I hoped it wouldn't scratch so easily, but also, let's be realistic. It's plastic and obviously it'll scratch. Eh, I'll live and keep using it until I can't stand it and then I'll probably just wind up getting another.

I bought this, calling it my new "writing machine," but I totally lied. I'm using it for writing and work stuff, but I'm also using it for everything I decided to keep my pc laptop for. Procrastinating by watching Hulu and Netflix without moving for a solid ten hours, being light enough, but also large enough to have wonderful quality viewing, and fast enough to do all that plus store a ton of documents that are half thought out ideas. And then when I actually write one it, I realize I did get my new writing machine (four chapters and counting in a month, woo!) even though I really just wanted a fancy toy.
I love it and recommend it for being a nice and light, powerful laptop.
(Next I'm going to get the Pro and try it, but I've yet to think of a good enough reason to justify spending the oh-my-god-what-even amount of money for it. Someday . . .)
