I am going back to the store to talk to the salesman about this.
I couldn't purchase it at the retail store because they didn't have any so we ordered on line. So I will go back and tell them about the battery.

What's great about it: it fit the camera
What's not so great: Short battery life. I was in Europe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
