The first season of the smash-hit fantasy drama, Game of Thrones, pits nine noble families against each other for control over the mystical lands of Westeros. Created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, and starring Sean Bean, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage, this series mixes together betrayal, love, murder and politics that will leave you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
While not as nicely packaged as the Steelbook version, this set is nonetheless worth its price, which is quite a bit less than the Steelbook. There are plenty of extras and the digital copy is especially nice as you can put it up on any UltraViolet linked service as well as Google Video.
The second season of Game of Thrones picks up where the first left off. Whilst the noble families of Westeros declare war on one another, a far more sinister, ancient threat is preparing to put the future of the continent at risk.

As Steelbooks go, this one is just like all the rest...nothing special but not disappointing. What does make it worthwhile and what I love in a Steelbook is the cover art, both front and back. The covers of the first 5 X-Men movies have been created in Steelbook using a single image of a major character from that movie. It's simple, well done, and not just a movie poster photograph of the cast, but something original to this product. On the back is the Trask name along with Trask and Sentinal project logos on both sides. Of course, it comes with a digital copy so that, at $14.99, you feel like you are getting some good value for your money. A necessary part of any Steelbook or X-Men collection.
The DVD is okay nothing special. I wish DC would try a CGI movie instead of traditional animation once in awhile. The action figure is just okay. How you can have John Constantine without a cigarette in his hand I don't know. God forbid an action figure should influence kids to smoke, however.
As Steelbooks go this one is a pretty good design and well-constructed. I love the cover art on the X-Men Steelbooks; so much better than those with simply pictures of the actors on the front.
