Nice Looking with Acceptable Operation

We bought this to match out quartz counter tops and had some space limitations so this was about the only slate unit that would fit (unless we went to the tiny counter depth unit). Generally we are pleased with this refrigerator. The Slate looks great and the unit does what its intended to do (keep things cold). The Ice maker seems slow to produce ICE and seems to want to crush them rather than giving cubes. The unit's compressor is louder than our 20 year old unit that was replaced but not so much that its a problem. The light at the top of the unit eats up a lot of space. I would have thought LED lights would be much smaller!

Great Looking but weak operation

Fist off this is a great looking appliance. It does cook things well. However, the alert sound that the unit gives when it completes cooking or the timer expires is so quiet that you cannot hear it over the units own vent or with a TV on in the room. The keypad is so dark that its difficult to read without turning on a bright light in the room (Would have been nice if it had a back-light). Also, I am not a fan of the mode where you hit a button and it cooks for that number of minutes.

Nice Looking but just ok function

We love the look of our new range. However the ovens seem to take substantially longer to heat up than our previous 20 year old unit and I am not convinced its cooking at the temperature on the displays so we find we have to add 10 to 20 degrees to the oven temperature to get things to cook at the recommended time. One of the ovens is a convection which is supposed to cook faster. We have cooked several items in it but don't seem to notice a difference in the amount of time.
However the alert sound for the oven's timer is useless. Its so quiet that you can barely notice it in the kitchen with a vent running or TV on. There is a volume setting and we have it all the way up. We keep overcooking things because we don't hear the timer go off.
As for the range they put to very large burners in the front so when you need to cook with a small pan (in our case most of the time) you have to use a back burner. The middle burner has a dual mode but we have not used it yet.
