I've had this for almost 2 months now, and the laptop runs very fast. I also like the slim design it's definitely portable.
I did experience heating issues occasionally, but not as often as some others have described. I also mostly use this by connecting it to a docking station that I have, so it's possible that it does have the heating problem but I just don't feel it.
The trade off to the small size is definitely sacrificing ports with only one USB 3 and two Thunderbolt. As mentioned above, I use it with a docking station most of the time so this doesn't bother me.
One other small thing that bugs me is the power button is on the side, and when I'm not using it with my docking station and need to move around a lot, I always hit the power button accidentally to put it to sleep. This is also my first laptop that has the power on the side and not inside/under the monitor.

Very easy to set up, all I had to do was plug in USB and power and the drivers installed automatically.
I mainly used this dock to connect my laptop to 2 external monitors, I have. However, I experienced lagging when I played video, not sure if this is caused by the USB 3 connection.
I returned this and bought one with Thunderbolt connection and didn't have the lagging issue
