Spent a bit of time debating what I was going to purchase - it was between this and the new Gigabyte Aero 15x. Both are spec'ed the same with the same form factor. I'm happy with this purchase. Great build quality, good keyboard, great trackpad (ultimately the reason why I chose not to choose the Aero because of reviews) - runs buttery smooth. Only complaint is the fans - which you can control, but inevitably become a burden to care to monitor. They're loud under minor workloads. The speakers could be substantially better, and I don't believe that sacrificing sound quality to achieve this form factor is a legitimate excuse. I know phones with substantially better speakers.

Got my ROG a few weeks back as a replacement laptop primarily for CAD / school / light gaming. CPU / GPU easily make this a versatile laptop. Biggest concern is the storage, soldered RAM and operating temperatures. All other models have an HDD/SDD combo and two free RAM slots. This model has 2 RAM slots but, one free and a clunker of an HDD. Swapped in 16 GB RAM, 256 GB NVME and 1 GB 2.5 SATA SSD and we're running smooth as butter. That and i installed a fresh copy of windows to remove bloat. Also made myself a cooling desk using old PC fans when doing GPU heavy things because 95+ in a cool environment is ridiculous, but that's what you get with a slim 'gaming' laptop.
Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something that's generally 'future' proof in terms of relative upgradeability. This recommendation is assuming there are no deals on comparable specs from other brands.

I've used the controller for a few months now and while all controls work 100% cosmetic issues are a major issue. The skin on the in box face plate started peeling off after 1 month of minimal use. I guess that's why they market it as swappable. :/
There's so many Xbox controllers on the market - while this isn't a mechanical issue I'd still recommend buying a different product unless you really enjoy the idea of unloading your wallet on face plates.

Despite finding it cheaper from other websites - the HU is awesome. By far the cheapest and most functional Android auto and car play head unit on the market. If you're not using these services this isn't for you - it lacks a fully functional interface otherwise.
Daily Driver for Android Auto is 99% dependable. The other 1% is a consequence of the Android software and the HU's internal clock which often gets reset back to 1970??? causing AA to fail security tests.

I bought this both adapter to connect my Xbox controller. It works- most of the time. There's noticeable bursts of lag when using it wirelessly versus wired.
For general use - file transfers, although slow, work as defined. Music playback wasn't an issue. When watching videos, there was some audio lag occasionally.

Are you able to fully calibrate the screen for photos? Ie. Contrast and brightness
If you're looking into this for color accuracy and photo-realism, I wouldn't jump on it. You can calibrate any monitor to your liking, but the display itself is not Lenovo's selling point here. Cheaper components/build for the general end user.

What printer is compatible with this computer, don't need anything expensive just for household useage Is the HP Envy compatible?
Any printer is compatible assuming the drivers are available for Windows 10. Otherwise, if your printer supports it, you can download the HP Smart App from the windows store and print/scan via the app.
