This is our 2nd Samsung TV and they just seem to get better and better. We bought this to replace a 61" Hitachi Projection TV and I can't believe we waited so long. This picture is so crisp and clear, it's almost like you're sitting in the room with them. We're still learning all the features and how to use the Smart TV part of it but, so far, we've had a lot of fun playing with it and have LOVED watching programs on it.

Misleading But Learned My Lesson

I did research on this item and everything I read indicated that it would work to transfer info from my old phone (Samsung Fascinate) to my new phone (Samsung S5). Unfortunately, all the info I read was wrong. This USB Drive along with a different Sandisk USB Drive that I bought previously will not work unless your OS is at least 4.0. Now just what good does that do almost everybody like myself who find it wasteful and foolishly ridiculous to pay (and will not) $700-$800 every year or 2 to upgrade phones. I have learned how to take care of that problem though. Lessons learned.

I haven't had to use this yet and hopefully I won't. I did purchase a Protection Plan on a previous TV years ago and did have to use it. We were very pleased. The tech came to our house, had the parts he needed, fixed our TV and was finished in less than 45 mins.

Will this display 1080p normal, or will there be distortion for people only using directv 1080 regular
I have this TV & two of the old HR23 Directv DVRs and I don't have any problems what so ever, except for the speed of changing channels and such but that is due to the directv receivers. Of course, according to directv, it's because I need to upgrade to the genie receivers.

Can I use an old Bose Acoustimass 5 Series III speaker system with this TV? It's hooked up to a Yamaha R-V905 receiver - also quite old (20 years or so), but they work fine for my existing equipment. This TV will be delivered next Saturday.
Yes, you can. We are using a Bose Lifestyle 20 that is also approximately 20 yrs old and haven't had a problem. The one thing that is aggravating is, as I'm sure you have already learned, is that you can't use the Samsung remote to control your Bose, or we can't. It may be different with your Acoustimass 5 but, with the picture from this Samsung TV and the Audio from my Bose, you can't beat it. I would almost swear we were sitting in the theater. This only thing, if your Bose has the option for Optical Audio, mine doesn't, you will probably have an even better Audio experience. Hope this helps.
