Basic speakers basic price. Just what I needed

Look these aren't for me. Or my son who only uses headohones. But recently got mom an echo and that speaker needed more umph for her. She doesn't need a Bluetooth of confusion. I don't need her calling me about said confusion. These plug in have a knob to turn them on and up or down. Perfect. Sound is solid for 20$ speakers and she rocks the Beach Boys in the retirement home

Quality usefulness and price

Much MUCH cheaper than Microsofts version. A bit larger which is actually a good thing for this house. And useful. Play pause rewind buttons that you know and love. No figuring out x b left rt trigger. (Ah! I'm triggered!)
We bought the OneS for its 4k disc ability. No matter what the kid might think. This remote saved the day. My wife will never hold a controller to watch a movie. Just not gonna happen. I saw this at wallyworld for almost 50! Not joking. Ridiculous. Got it on sale which i understand haopens often for under 20. And it works. Its feels good in the hand.
End of the day. If you or someone else watching a movie on YOUR xbox is: unable unwilling incapable or just doesnt feel like using the controller as a remote. This rocks.

Bought the 8500 curved 65 dec 26. As our main tv. Loved it so much. Replaced a lesser used tv with this (one model lower( the 7500. It is excellent in every way for the price point. Giving it 4 stars for 3 reasons
1-i own the 8500. And the step up in refresh rate IS noticable.
2- the 8500 has the break out module for all of its connections. Which the manual states makes it upgradable, idk about that, what i like about it is less visible clutter. And only a single cable to wallfish from the components to the hung tv.
3- and this actually bothers my wife quite a lot. The 7500s stand is center mounted with 'feet' that extend in a V shape from it. This makes it difficult to use a soundbar if the tv is on a surface and not hung. The 8500s stand are smaller Vs at either end. Allowing for the curved soundbar (which is beautiful underneath it to me) to nest. She really wants me to switch them because of this. I really dont want to.

End of the day. The price dif is like 250-300. The picture and i guess upgradability of the 8500 are worth it. But if this is your price point it is definitely a quality picture with minor cons. The OS is identical as are the remotes if i remember correctly

Almost the perfect solution

Sound is excellent. Setup a breeze. Comcast remotes has codes to control it as well.
4 stars not 5. Because as many have said in reviews on multiple sites. You cannot turn off the auto shut off feature. After 15 min of no sound the unit powers down. Id prefer to make that either 30 or turn it off completely. Otherwise. Simple somution that looks good with the curve tv

Gift for my wife. I bought one as well. The grey/black model. I previiusly had microsofts band and my wife had an apple watch. This things is years ahead of the band. And my wife loves it much more than the apple (loves the 7edge more as well) she actually wears this one daily and finds it useful without intruding on daily activity.
