In all honesty, I wasn't enthused about the thought of this remake initially.
I watched it with an open mind, and found that it's at least on par with the original sequel.
There are some legitimate laughs to be had, and the special effects were creative enough to make Ghostbusters worth while.

While a little concerned that The Evil Dead series was going to live on in a 20+ minute/episode TV show, it was a relief to see the goofy horror did not stray from the source material.
The only thing that would have made this a better deal would to have had more content and maybe a digital download.
All in all, still worth the price of admission.
