We have looked at these and different types/brands for a while. We picked up the middle of the road version and it has been great so far. The glass bowl is great, tilt head feature we like a lot. We are looking forward to adding attachments down the road (want to try the pasta items). Some folks seem to indicate the unit was noisy but we did not observer anything like this. We have made different batches with differ thicknesses and all mixed well and easily.

Easy and sounds great

Have had this speaker set up now for about 30 days. Usually avoided buying these type of TV only speaks. I always wanted a receiver to run things through. The single sound bar and sub-woofer on the LG Music Flow replace three front, two ceiling, and sub-woofer. Sound is great and I got rid of another the receiver and another remote (Music Flow comes with a remote, just put it in the end table since the LG TV works with it, do not have to do anything for setup on that). Connected this to our LG TV via the optical cable and was up and running in no time. Sub-woofer is great as a wireless speaker. While I did not waste to much time, struggled with the speaker HDMI connection to my LG TV, so just stuck with the optical connection. Not sure why I waited to do this, well did get a good deal over the holidays.

Great Battery life, quick to get going

I needed a new camcorder since my previous one no longer was holding the battery charge and had a graduation to record. My previous JVC camcorder was a hard drive based unit which works great with a 30G hard drive. The unit did get hot when used heavily. This newer Sony runs off a Micro SD card which was nice with a 32G card I purchased with it. The unit is very light and did not get hot like my older unit. I did not have much time to read through the manuals so I basically opened the box, plugged it in to charge, dropped in the SD card and went to the graduation. Graduation was about 2 hours and had about 33% battery left and plenty of memory yet on the SD card. I like the weight, the zoom features, and surprise at the audio pick up this camcorder has.

We scheduled this at the time of purchase for the stereo and lead time was about one week. My son showed up a bit early and they were able to get the car in and done in about half the estimated time. Sweet stereo, little glitches

This was a birthday present for my son. We briefly compare the different systems, sound, features, with cost and this unit looked as the best deal. We had Best Buy install the unit as well. The purchase and installation went as planned in his 1999 Toyota Corolla. The radio and bluetooth setup was strait forward and quick to do. The only issue we had seen is that while his Andriod phone is cabled to the unit to charge and playing music through the phone...... if you touch the phone screen things we reset and disrupt the music. Bit of a pain when this happens by accident when driving. We have not research completely or isolated this down but appears this also occurs on other, older Sony car products that his other friends have. This is why the 4 versus 5 stars.

Looks like this could be an issue or error with Windows 7 related to the software installation. Here is what the Epson site referenced for a WF 3640.

Home Theater with Game Consoles...
I have a 57" HDTV, Xbox 360, Wii, and Direct TV and wish to purchase a Home Theater System that would connect all of them for under $650.00. Also, I would prefer wireless speakers because of the mounting layout, any advice or suggestions?
This is not your only option but believe it would be the most strait forward, most cost effective, and easily maintained.
I would recommend getting the XBox and Wii with HDMI cables and also use the HDMI off your Direct TV setup, these are minimal in cost and if your TV is fairly new should have three HDMI connections. Next I would recommend a sound bar with a wireless sub woofer. Most sound bars with connect to your TV with an optical cable and many are WiFi or Blue Tooth (I picked up a nice sounding LG setup for less than $300). In my setup we have a Blu-Ray, Dish Network, and a PS4 connected into an LG 55" HDTV. I select input on the TV and get to anything (and since the TV is WiFi get to all my web content like NetFlix, Hulu, etc.). Either the TV remote or my Dish Remote can control sound volume. So if I am just watching Dish, use the Dish remote, any thing else use the TV remote. I found that the receivers are a bit more pricey and always seem a bit behind in one technology or another (I have brought three receivers in less than ten years to try and keep up) . This is why we removed our Pioneer (and two Yamaha unit previously) that were middle to upper end units and each around $350-$450. Going with the Sound Bar allowed us to drop three front hard wire speakers, two hard wired ceiling speakers, and a hard wired sub-woofer. I was skeptical on the sound bar replacing my receiver/speakers but my cabling is so much cleaner and the sound is still great (surprisingly). Hope that helps.

my question is, what is the ideal hook up? blu ray player HDMI to HK HDMI to hdtv? or blu ray HDMI to hdtv and optical audio out to the HK receiver? would i lose any HD audio decoding like dolby trueHD or DTS HD master audio quality if i hook up the bluray into the hdtv instead of utilizing the hk capability of decoding the HD audio?

I would have to look at all the specifications. In the last 30 days I just dropped my Pioneer receiver and now connect my LG TV, LG Music Flow sound bar, LG Blu-Ray (my Samsung sucked bad) and my Dish DVR all together via HDMI cables. I have noticed a clearer picture and sound via my Blu-ray and sound from from the Dish Network connection. From my experience I have observed an improvement in both sound and HDTV quality. It appears your HK 254 Reciever was initially released on 2008. Everything should work fine but may wish to try connections without and see if you observe higher quality without the HK. My experience without a receiver has been positive and I now a simpler cabling and better quality at a lower over all cost.

Does anyone else get a popping or crackle from the subwoofer? Just updated and now it is worse... it's random... really kind of annoying :(
We have had ours for about a month and is working fine. Could be a weak wireless single. Test by temporarily moving the speaker close to your wireless router. Additionally has seen a poor ground on the power outlet to the sub-woofer cause interference and lastly possibly a defective speaker. Generally I would lean towards the first two. Try to move the speaker closer to the WiFi router or to another power outlet see if it changes (suggest different room just as a test).

Can I use this memory card with my D90 Nikon DSLR camera?
From the Nikon web site would indicate this card is supported. Note they do not reference the higher capacities SanDisk cards but I have used the SanDisk cards in my Sony, Cannon, Samsung, Dell, and LG products very reliably. Since also the other SD cards listed include a 32G size the camera should be fine in my opinion. Link to the Nikon site included.

Does this device support wired ethernet for use with internet apps - i.e. Netflix, Hulu, etc
This TV does have a wired connection available. We have not used it in our house but go to the link below for the user manual instructions for a wired connection. The wireless connection works great BTW.

What is the true refresh rate for this tv? I sometimes see 120 and other times 60. Are they referring to different rates?
Got this for my son and I was looking around for this exact reason. There are some models you will find running 60 and typically will find them on sale or at a much lower price. Need to watch that close as you are looking around. This one is 120.
