Got this for travel. It has side lights to show you when it's charging or being charged. It's not the fastest charger out there though so the speed is a bit mediocre. The cord strap is a nice touch. Solid. Not the best but ok for the price point.

I purchased this laptop for someone else so this review is based on their use. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that other HP models in this functionality and range have a password swipe option.
Pros - extremely long battery life, flip top keyboard is a nice benefit, touch screen is smooth, not glitch like some of the older or cheaper touch screens
Cons- HP has a finger print swipe for passwords for a similar priced model. Not having this option is a con at this price point in today's password intensive world
Battery life - to have the exceptionally long battery life that comes on this model, the charge period is long for laptops. It takes somewhere near 8 hours for a full charge. The time is worth it but if you need charge and go, this may not be your model.
Overall, useful, functional model.

I purchased this because I did not want all of my files backed up to the cloud. For the price, this backup has a ton of storage space and is very easy to set up and use.
I have not used it for my phone yet, but you can also back up several media items. For first time use, simply plug up, allow the software to load, follow the set ups and transfer your files. After file transfers, it's narrow enough to store away some place cool that does not take up much space as it's only a couple of inches wide. Plug it up once a week to back up your files and you are all set. Wonderful purchase and cheaper than some of the cloud rates over the long term.

Great Ear Buds For A Workout!

These are my favorite ear buds. I also have a pair of Sony ear buds and a pair of Panasonic ear buds. These ear buds stay put when you are working out, even through sweat. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose but be advised I use an MP3 player with an amplifier so I get better quality and power than what you would get without an amplifier. My only problem, and why I gave them a 4, is that the ear bud cords are a bit short. There is just enough room from each ear to where they join below the chin and my other equipment is a bit longer. That said, I love them and use them just about each work out.
