keep on looking for another computer

This computer is not worth it for the price.
The intel core I7 processor is only a dual core processor. no real power.
The computer that I had took 5 min on boot to get to the log in screen and then an additional 5 min to get to usable. The graphic performance was worse than an Intel Mac book pro in windows 10..
Tech support was a joke. They made sure that it was not a hardware issue then told me since it was a software issue I would have to pay for support after being transfered around.
For the price, if you want a computer with a descrete graphics card look at a gaming laptop, I got an MSI for less than 100.00 more it had a more powerful processor, a solid state hard drive, and a regular hard drive. and a more powerfull video card.

re:MS Office, when the trial period ends, am I then left without any word, spreadsheet etc. apps?
I am not 100% sure, but I think you have the ability to view documents, but not edit and save. you could purchase office 365. There are also free alternatives like google documents and Libreoffice , just google it, its free and does 90% of what office does, it also reads all office file types

How does it holds games?
the 1TB drive is plenty of space for games, however the dual core processor is not good for games, and I just got bad performance. See recommendations for a good alt that will play games great.

How well does this laptop stay cool during light gaming such as World of Warcraft?
I do not know about WOW, but I was playing it with Final Fantasy xiv and it got warm, and lousy performance less than 30 FPS on min settings. se reccomend for laptop I got, I can play xiv on max settings and it stays cool, it sounds like a jet plane taking off, but it is cool
