Nice streaming device, easy setup

Very nice streaming device. Sits on the corner of media center. Some pros and cons though (that's with any electronic device you own):
Pros:
1. If you are iphone/ipad user, you do not have to setup wifi. It reads the settings automatically from your iphone/ipad. Even reads your apple id.
2. Gets your subscriptions from apple account. And visa versa - if you setup something from apple tv, it syncs back to your iphone or ipad.
3. Apps for almost all the TV Channels; especially HBO Now.
4. Touch pad on remote to navigate between apps and while watching a video (rewind and forward is very easy).
5. Have some games on app store (I do not personally play games on this; just tried one or two times).
6. Some additional resourcefull apps like airbnb, tripadvisor (not very useful on this, but still...), flickr, etc.

Cons:
1. Searching using keypad with all the characters in single row is annoying sometimes.
2. Don't like youtube app on it. Does not show search results or suggested videos while watching. But its the app not the device really.
3. Limited buttons on the remote makes it time consuming to use for the first few days/times. But once you get used to, you will like less buttons.

Its great...but not a must have

Along with buying macbook, i bought magic mouse too. Very easy installation. Smooth flow, great quality product. But, its not something you really need in the sense that Macbook touch pads are great to use anyways. It would be more useful for desktop users. Another downside of using it with macbook is that mac touch has tons of gestures and mouse supports few of them. So adaptability is difficult -switching between touchpad and mouse.

Sleek, light, beautifull

I have become a fan of apple after starting using iphone 2 years back. This is my first macbook and i do not regret switching from windows. Initially felt hard to use and install stuff, but once i started to get to know, it became fairly easy. Now i find hard to use windows on my office laptop. Great speed, easy initial setup, light, beautiful screen, seamless screenshare with apple tv, great battery life, crisp sound, intuitive user interface. Just go for it!!!
