Add booming bass to your audio setup with this Klipsch Reference R-10SW subwoofer, which features a built-in digital amplifier that offers 300W peak power. A 10" IMG (injection-molded graphite) woofer reduces cone breakup and distortion for clear tones.
I purchased this sub-woofer to pair with the other Klipsch speakers I have connected to my Pioneer SC-91 Elite receiver. I am also using two Klipsch R-15M bookshelf speakers and a Klipsch R-25C center channel speaker, and two small Cambridge Audio cube speakers in surround mode.
The Klipsch R-10SW added much needed bass depth to the system. My room is approximately 14' X 28' and there is plenty of bass. I wish it went a little lower to get to the minimum 20Hz range of human hearing but 30Hz is good for now, especially for the price.
Setup was simple, especially when using the Pioneers Microphone setup to optimize the output of the Sub woofer based on where I placed it within the room.
Secure your files with this WD My Passport Ultra 2TB external hard drive, which offers a tough, portable design. Password protection and 256-bit AES encryption safeguard your data, and WD Backup software lets you schedule automated backups to the Cloud.
I choose this portable drive after I started receiving intermittent failures on my Seagate GoFlex portable drive. I believe the Seagate is failing due to the inteface of their SATA adapter to the drive SATA output. Over time the connection has become loose.
The Western Digital My Pasport drive does not use a proprietary connection, just a simple USB to USB3 cable that is easily replaced if it gets damaged. The drive itself may be even more protected as the SATA connection is not visible.
One thing to not is the drive is actually 1.85GB of free space, not 2.0 GB as shown.
